This lovely, comfortable and modern Beach Condo is walking distance to not only Del Mar's Beaches but to all the shops and eateries in The Del Mar Village as well. This 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom dream is tucked away on a secluded street and has an incredible Ocean View.

This very comfortably furnished beach condo is located just 3 short blocks to the beach (Please note: you do have to cross the train tracks to get to the beach). Seas The Day is also just a five minute walk into the Village, and an easy walk to the Del Mar Racetrack. No car or Uber needed if you plan to stay in Del Mar and are a walker....

Furnished condo with casual and very comfortable denim oversized couches. Newer carpet throughout. Our condo has two bedrooms, each with a queen-size and very comfortable bed. We have two full bathrooms, one has a tub/shower combo for the kids. The living area includes an oversized couch and chaise that can easily be slept on. This condo is an end unit with a great ocean view! Each bedroom has a TV and the living area has a flat screen TV, and WiFi. We even have a TV in the kitchen for the cook in the family. The balcony looks out to the ocean and has a gas grill. There is a washer and dryer on site, as well as off street parking.


Come stay, I doubt you will want to go home!

Stayed at the lovely Seas the Day in Nov/Dec w/ 3 other family members. So nice to have an entire condo instead of just a hotel room!

Condo's location is spectacular.....can walk to beach by just crossing the railroad tracks and down a hill.

The ocean view from the balcony is nice, could actually see surfers in the morning.

The beds were very comfy and kitchen well-equipped.

The passenger trains do travel very close to the condo, however, we weren't bothered by them at all - actually cool to see and not very loud.

Condo management was quick to respond to a sink that wouldn't drain. Would definitely recommend this property to others!

Great unit in an amazing location - most importantly, SERVICE was great!

Every November since the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club started hosting a fall meeting, my wife and I go down to Del Mar to spend a long weekend. We spend the days at the track and find nice restaurants and local plays to go in the evenings. We have used VBRO in the past and this year was no exception. However, after making the booking back in May, when the week came to get the instructions for our rental, nothing was forthcoming in my email. Concerned, I reached out to Kimberly, the rental agent, to determine why we had not received anything. She immediately returned my call and explained that, due to a change in their software, my reservation had disappeared from their system and the unit that I thought that I had booked had been rented to another party!

You can understand my concern at this point. However, Kimberly was the epitome of professionalism. She immediately began the process of locating an alternative unit for us and in less than 3 hours had found an available unit, Bird of Paradise (Not pictured here), which was a considerable upgrade in price from the unit that we had originally booked. And she gave us the new unit at the same price as the original unit, a several hundred dollar a night difference.

I mention all this in detail because, while we all wish that life was mistake-free, sometimes stuff happens. And when it does, you want to be dealing with somebody who will take responsibility for an error and do whatever it takes to make it right. This could have been a really ugly situation, but because of Kimberly's professionalism, it all turned out well and we had a wonderful time!

The unit itself is great! An easy walk to downtown Del Mar and also an easy walk to the track if you are there for the horse racing. 1 block to the beach with great views. Highly recommended!

The condo has a gorgeous view and well maintained

The condo was great! My husband, 5 month old son and I stayed there for 5 days. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was extra things such as a pack and play in the closet and all the linens smelled like fresh laundry. The train tracks we're not an issue. The train was not loud and did not disturb us. There is a little path parallel with the tracks for 100 yards, which led to town. Great restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this condo.

Trains too noisy, not worth the money.

The management was really concerned that me and my adult son were going to be too noisy so I had to call them and confirm I would comply with their noise rules.....this for a place where the train keeps you up late and awakes you before the rooster crows! The management company also needed a picture ID....hmmm with all the stuff going on in the country it makes me wonder why they are worried about how I look???? The place was clean and the location is good. Unit could be updated.

Owner's Response: Sadly, James was a problem from the very beginning. This review is NOT accurate. He got very upset when I called to verify the house rules with him, which is basically a requirement of The City of Del Mar and certainly standard protocol of my company and the owner I work for. He told me he could "easily buy the entire building in cash" and that I was wasting his time. James booked a weekend that a big music festival was going on in town, a time when lots of parties are thrown and vacation rentals can pose issues with partiers. This is a quiet complex and I wanted to make sure the neighbors weren't going to be affected by a party or gathering. I also explained the reasons why we collect ID's: to make sure HIS credit card wasn't stolen and used to book this condo. ID's are only stored for the customer's protection. It is important to know who is in the property incase of a natural disaster. We may need to report to the police who was in the building if there was a fire or there was an earthquake or something of that nature. I also explained that the ID could be a Costco Card, or Library Card, something with his name and picture on it. I told him it DIDN'T have to be a Drivers License, and he knows that, I told him personally :( We do not collect IDs to see what people look like? What a waste of time? FUTURE CUSTOMERS: Please read all of our reviews for this home and for the other 31 homes I manage. The train has not been an issue in the past at this condo. This property sits in a "NO HORN" zone, so it is ILLEGAL for the train to blow a horn unless someone is physically on the track. I have been in business since 2010, and this is one of the only bad reviews I have ever received. I have written over 2,200 contracts and have never had this kind of a smearing review before. I have to say, I am NOT surprised though. I put this man on our "DO NOT RENT" list after I spoke to him, because he was so nasty to me, and this was BEFORE he even arrived to stay..... I could write a book about the rest, but I'll spare you all, please just be sure to read all the other nice reviews we have on this condo and on our services.... It is definitely NOT outdated either, it is super cute and updated :) Thanks for reading and we hope to have you as a guest :) ~ Kimberly
