  • Perfect place for our stay in Bigfork!

"The wildflower cabin had everything we needed for our stay in Bigfork. The cabin was very clean. My dog and the owner's dog got along great and we loved having the owner's dog over to play with the frisbee. The front yard was perfect and very private. I thought the highway noise would bug us but we hardly noticed it. We also loved the movie collection in the cabin. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an affordable place to stay close to Bigfork. This way one of the only rentals in this area who allowed pets which I think is a must in Montana and is the main reason I chose this place. Thanks for letting us enjoy the Wildflower cabin!!"

  • Could not be any better!!!!!

"I'm hesitant to write such a wonderful review for fear that this wonderful river view condo will not be available for us on future trips, but it deserves the honest review I am about to give. This wonderful 1-bedroom condo is a real gem in Big Fork. It overlooks the Swan River, a favorite by visiting and local kayakers. We arrived during the Whitewater Festival and expected noise and craziness throughout the entire weekend. Between the soothing sound of the river and the wonderful insulation of the condo, you couldn't hear a pin drop. The condo is tastefully and comfortably decorated in a fishing cabin motif. The kitchen is large enough cook meals and provides all of the necessities for preparation. The bedroom is very comfortable, appointed with a closet washer and dryer, and a tiled bathroom with a superb walk-in shower. The condo is perfect for two adults but if you have a couple of kids or teens, the pull out sofa bed provides the necessary bed space. Now for the best feature....THE DECK!!! You will want to spend all of your time out here. Two reclining chaise loungers, a dining table with four chairs, and a gas BBQ make this the perfect resting place. We enjoyed or morning coffee, evening cocktails & dinner, and river/bird watching daily. The deck is 15'X18', which is huge by most standards. Our hosts, George and Shauna have a true gem here. You will not be disappointed with your stay. All I ask is that you all don't rush to book it and take away the availability my wife and I will be looking for. ENJOY & RELAX in true comfort."

  • Love the location!!

"This was a very nice home. There is a wall of windows facing the lake. All the kids loved the loft and it has a private balcony. It was stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, everything we needed except food:) We cooked almost every meal there (thank you Costco) and found everything we needed. On the deck, there is a covered area that worked great for shade and one evening when it was raining. The deck is big and has two jet ski lifts and a boat lift and even has lights if you need them in the evening. The wood was replenished while we were there by the house manager. He had actually built the house and several of the docks around us including ours. He visited with us about the area and houses he had built around us, super nice guy. The neighbors on both sides were friendly and we enjoyed visiting with them. The yard was big and green and well maintained. The orchard had apples and cherries and was a great spot for taking pictures. The washer and dryer was new and I think a bigger size, super handy. The house was located in a beautiful, scenic area. While we were there, we went to a brewery in Lakeside that had great food and as an added bonus kids were free that day (Monday). We also rented a pontoon and drove it around Wild Horse Island, we saw a lot of wildlife but no horses:( It would be a great place to hike but with the little ones we couldn't."

  • Very nice

"The apartment was very nicely decorated. It is located above the garage, so there is a steep set of stairs. The patio is beautiful and very peaceful and quiet. An ideal location for staying in the Bigfork area. We rode our bikes into town and along the Swan River trail. The apartment is located across the street from the lake, but there is no access to the lake. That is not a problem, however, as the public access is only 1/2 mile away. Very quiet neighborhood and the hosts were very accommodating. Our only concern was when they had to replace the screens in the bedroom and it did not occur during our stay. Due to concerns over the dang squirrels (who damaged the screens) we had to keep the windows closed, resulting a little warmer than anticipated. We greatly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again! Thank you!"
