We have been coming to Moab from Washington for nearly 20 years and every couple of years we would go somewhere new. From hotels to trailers to B&B's to condo's. Rim Village is quiet, a great place to take kids and is always a pleasure to come back to after a hard day's ride. This particular condo is always clean and well stocked (except for tp!). This is our 4th year in a row, and hopefully we'll be there again next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Our maid does a great job of keeping the place clean. I have already talked to her about increasing the TP allotment. We look forward to having you back again soon!

We had a great experience renting this condo, from working with the owner through our stay there. Communications with Dale were easy, prompt, and clear. The condo is spacious, clean, and well-appointed, and it exceeded our expectations. Beds and baths were very comfortable. The furnishings and appointments were nice, but in a way that you felt comfortable and not worried every second about the kids messing something up. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub, and the grounds of Rim Village were well-maintained. It is a few minutes' drive outside of Moab, but this was nice for us, as it was very quiet and you could see tons of stars. Paradox Pizza delivers there, which was great on our final night. We saw Arches and Canyonlands (both Islands in the Sky and Needles) during our stay, and Rim Village was well positioned for exploring these. Our only (minor) issue was that housekeeping had left a load of wet towels in the dryer when we arrived. We had been traveling for several days already and needed to do laundry right away, and it was a nuisance to have the washer full. I tried drying the towels while I washed a load of our clothes, but the dryer didn't work very well, and the towels were not dry after an hour plus. I went ahead and took care of my own laundry, but the OCD side of me would not let me leave a load of soured towels, so I re-washed them the next morning, but again, they were not dry after 100 minutes on the highest setting. We went out for the day, and I finished drying them and folded them that night. I guess I should have just left them for housekeeping, because I ended up spending way too much energy on a load of towels they should have done during my vacation. If they can't finish washing and drying the linens in the space of time they spend cleaning the condo between guests, perhaps they should remove the soiled ones and wash them offsite. Or, ask guests to start the wash with their own towels on check out day (which I did). But again, this was minor, and I would like to say that housekeeping left the condo otherwise in perfect condition. Overall, we loved this condo and would stay there again in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Sorry that you found wet towels in the dryer. It is not the norm. I have discussed this with the maid service and it will not happen again. I will also have the dryer checked out to maker sure it is operating properly. If you stay with us in the future, we ask that you contact us immediately if there is a problem so we can resolve it as quickly as possible. We are glad you enjoyed your time in Moab despite the problem. We hope you can come stay with us again.

My family of 7 (2 grandparents, 2 parents and 3 kids) stayed for three nights. There was plenty of room for all of us. The town home is decorated beautifully and in a wonder location, not right in town but close enough. The kitchen and linen closets are exceptionally well stocked. The owner makes confirming dates and access a breeze. We enjoyed our stay so much, we've contracted to come again next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Our family of six stayed for 4 nights while exploring beautiful Moab. What a great condo! Everything was very clean, and the open floor plan and high ceilings made it feel spacious and welcoming. The pictures truly don't do the place justice. We commented many times during our stay that we couldn't believe we were staying in such a nice place for such a great rate. We used the kitchen for all our meals, so I really appreciated that there were pots and pans and cooking utensils to meet all our needs. There were even some staple spices on hand - much appreciated! The owners were very accomodating and helpful throughout. The condo is a few miles outside of Moab, but that just made it quiet. There are amazing views of the rim out one side, and the mountains on the other. We used the grill and it actually worked and had propane (much appreciated!), and had it been warmed, the patio was great. The only down side was that the community hot tub wasn't working when we were there. Also, the bed in the master was COMFY! We slept so great while we were there. We loved using this condo for a home base while we did hikes in gorgeous Arches (just 10 minutes away) and Canyonlands (maybe 45 minutes away). Another thing I really appreciated was that there was so much storage space available for settling in with all our clothing. Very atypically generous this way compared to many places we've rented in the past, and it made it easy. I would highly recommend this to anyone, particularly to families. Thank you, Dale!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

The absolute best place to stay. Beautiful condo with surrounding red rock views. Spacious with comfy beds. Close to town yet very quiet. All the comforts of home. We can't thank Dale and JoAnn enough for sharing their beautiful home with us. We definately will be back. City market in town is best place to shop for groceries. If visiting Arches it is worth paying the $10.00 to get arches CD. CD starts narrating from the visitors center and continues through the park. You can also rent it for $5.00. Without CD you will not know the rock formations or history. Adrift is good place to do raft and horseback riding. Horseback riding is at Red Cliff Lodge through adrift. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We loved staying here! The condo is even bigger than we expected, clean, comfortable, and decorated beautifully. The beds were very comfortable and the location is quiet and peaceful. Shampoo and soap were provided which we didn't expect. The owner was great to work with as well. We would love to stay here again and would recommend this place to everyone. We stayed five nights and enjoyed visiting Arches National Park where we went on several hikes. It was very hot when we stayed there in August, but the air conditioning worked wonderfully. We would go on morning hikes, head back to the condo to rest and swim, then go on sunset hikes in the evening. We also took a day trip to Mesa Verde which we would recommend to anyone who has an extra day. We visited Dead Horse Point too but will have to go back to see Canyonlands another time. Moab has several nice shops and they were open late so we could walk down main street at night and enjoy window shopping. We mostly prepared our own meals and appreciated the use of the barbecue grill. We had a magical vacation and made memories. We hope to do it again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.
