  This is a great property on south padre island. Peaceful, staff very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend sunset horseback riding while there, well worth the cost. This owners condo is in great shape, very clean and comfortable. I will definitely be coming back and looking to book ths condo again. Thanks

  The condo had a wonderful view - just like the pictures! It was a good size too and could accomodate a family easily. The surrounding area was pretty quite as well. As an insanely light sleeper, the only (slight) downside was that I kept waking up to the air conditioner sounds in the master bedroom. Everything else - the kitchen, balcony, internet, bathroom, proximity to the water was fantastic!! Parking was pretty good too; the lot is gated and I never had issues finding a parking spot. Parking here would also be great if you came in the more typical months - you'd be right on the beach without having to fight for a spot! The weather didn't quite cooperate with me during my stay, but there was plenty of good food nearby within walking distance and the condo became quite cozy on the too-cold/rainy days (everyone said that it was really odd weather; I'll have come back when things return to normal and enjoy the sun!) I'd return here if I go back to South Padre and definitely recommend it to other interested people!! Happy beach-going time!! :-)

  We really enjoyed our stay at Aquarius #507. The unit was everything we expected. It was clean, the perfect size for a family of 4 (we thought 6 people would be a pretty tight squeeze as the unit overall isn't that large). The location on the island was great. The 5th floor views were awesome. The building itself seemed to be well managed and the front desk attendants were helpful and friendly. A recommendation would be to provide a portable drying rack out on the front balcony to allow storage and drying of swim suits and towels. Not the owners fault I'm sure but the trash can only had 1 trash bag with no extras anywhere to be found. Overall a great apartment and a great place to vacation.

  Communicstion with owner awesome! When we arrived the welcome was all business. The codos were a bit out dated but our room made up for it. We had lots of trash and no instruction on where we could dispose of it.

  My husband and I had a fabulous time during our week-long vacation. We enjoyed having a kitchen to cook breakfasts and lunches. We brought our favorite spices from home which made cooking a breeze! The movies we brought with us which were enjoyed during our breaks from the beach. The views from the balconies added to our relaxation as we read our favorite books. Though there were a lot of families around the pool, we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. We will be planning return visit soon!

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

  On the way to the Island we stopped at WalMart to pickup the necessary snacks and sun screen. When we arrived at the Aquarius the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We took a cart and unloaded the vehicle ready for a week of fun and fun is what we had. The two room condo was simple and nice. The single bath was a little small, but since we spent so little time in the condo it was not a insurmountable problem. I did find out later that we had to provide our own toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap ect. I didn't mind buying these products, but it would have been better had we known from the beginning to save us another trip to WalMart. The condo had a closet full of beach toys which was wonderful for my 10 year old son. The pool was also shaded from the sun in the afternoon, which was wonderful since we all tend to burn easily. The walk to the beach was short and sweet and the views from the balconies were spectacular. One evening there were even fireworks. We didn't use the kitchen much because we ate out every meal, but the microwave was perfect for popcorn in front of the TV and the glasses and cork screw were well utilized for sipping wine from the balcony. Awesome trip! Make sure to take the catamaran dinner cruise, go for a ride on the pirate ship (for 10 years and under), visit the little touch aquarium while you wait for the pirate ship and see the dolphins.

  I spent most of my childhood living on the mainland in Port Isabel and now travel down to SPI every few years or so to visit family who live on the island. We always rent a beachfront condo and have stayed in a variety of them - all of which were fine. But this is now our favorite! I loved having the two balconies and was so excited that we could see the jetties from the ocean side balcony. We were there in April, so there were no fireworks over the bay yet, but we did get some gorgeous sunsets. My kids have declared that from now on we have to visit only in the summer, so they can get the firework show. It was also nice to be only a mile up from the causeway, as we usually end up farther up the island. The condo and grounds were clean and lovely. We did take advantage of the outdoor grills, too, cooking fresh trout that my brother caught in the bay. I have a sister who will be heading down to the island with her family soon, who was disappointed that they had already booked their condo, as they would have stayed here, too, after hearing me rave about it. Thanks so much and we'll be in touch next time we head down to Texas!

  We were pleased to find the unit exactly as pictured! Everything was clean and comfortable. The views were excellent and the owner was very helpful when we had questions. We would definitely stay there again! Great week spent in South Padre!

  Great place for the family. I went with my husband and three children (two college kids and high-school aged kid). We all had a great time. I had never rented a property from someone I didn't personally know, so I was a little hesitant. This went off without a hitch. The place looked just like the pictures, the owner was helpful, and the room was clean. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a spot right on the water.
