I love the Beach & being in the warm ocean and I don't love driving. I can walk to the beach in 1 minute or to Hanalei Village in 10 minutes. Everything I need or want is in Hanalei.

This is a place to relax & enjoy the healthy Hanalei lifestyle. There is a Hanalei Farmer's Market twice a week where you can get great local produce. There are Fruit, Juice, & smoothie Bars, Harvest Health Food Store, all within a 10 minute walk from your Vacation Rental. Devaki is available for Hawaiian LomiLomi, Deep Tissue, & other forms of Massage. Devaki also teaches Massage if you want to learn. Devaki teaches Yoga & Yoga Teacher Training & was a student of Indra Devi, the First Lady of Yoga.

I sailed into Hanalei on a Full Moon night in 1976. It was the most beautiful place I had ever seen by moonlight & when I awakened the next morning to see the long stretch of white sand, the crescent shaped Bay, the Emerald Green Mountains I knew I had found the place I wanted to live for the rest of my life. Kauai welcomed me with it's warm Aloha. I spent the next 4 summers there before I left my dear friends & home in Pt. Dume, Malibu in 1980. I was sad to leave my Yoga Students, family, & friends, but now I have my Kauai Yoga Students, family, friends.
I love Hanalei Sunsets so I walk, run, swim, surf, or Boogie Board every evening. It is a 1 minute walk to Hanalei Bay & Beach, my favorite beach in the world. I have always loved being in the Ocean, but California was too cold for me so I spent time in other Tropical Paradises that were great for a vacation, but not places I could call home. This is home and I would love to share it with you.

My wife and I had a truly relaxing and enjoyable time in this beautiful rental. Actually it didnt feel like a rental at all as it is so spacious and well appointed. The unit is so well equipped with beach gear,books,music collection, kitchen accessories etc that makes it easy and comfortable to do whatever you want. The legendary sunset at Hanalei Bay is only 2 minutes walk and less than 5 minutes walk to town. Devaki can be easily contacted if necessary and is full of usefull local information. We look forward to one day returning to this piece of paradise.

We stayed at the Honeymoon Cottage for two weeks. In my 62 years of travel, this was my best vacation! Why. Devaki is great! She is always available to answer questions. She also has the sensitivity to understand the need for privacy! The location is terrific! It really is 1/2 block from the beach! You can hear the surf at night. Even if you are not on a honeymoon, the cottage is quiet, relaxing, clean, and a great value. Note: I lost my glasses in the airport, which should explain any spelling errors. Mahalo!

A few years back I treated myself to an 8 day stay here - it was a birthday gift to myself. And it was the best gift. This is a lovely place in every way. Clean, convenient, comfortable - perfect. I also took a daily yoga lesson from Devaki and had fantastic massages - one on my first day and one on my last. While the yoga and massage are optional, I'd recommend that you treat yourself to these services. This is one vacation that this traveler has never, ever forgotten. If I could go again, I would!

My husband and I have been coming here every year for the last twelve years. It is so comfortable, it feels like home to us! We love the banks of windows on both sides, affording views of the tropical foliage from the kitchen and views of the mountains from the living area. The open plan is spacious, light and airy--and with the numerous windows and ceiling fans there is excellent cross ventilation. It is tastefully decorated with tropical and romantic touches, great artwork, and always immaculately clean. We think the location is ideal, walk to the best beach on the island in two minutes flat, walk to town for shopping, market, health food store, restaurants and farmers market. The location is set back from the road so it is more private, quiet, romantic than most places this close to the beach in Hanalei. We feel more like part of an island town rather than a tourist in a resort. If you want a resort feel, Princeville is just a 5 minute drive with many fine dining restaurants and nightlife choices. The owner, Devaki has given us tips on the best spots for surfing, snorkeling, swimming, hiking, restaurants, fresh organic food, farmer’s markets and is always available if you need anything. We know we will always be comfortable here with no surprises.

What a wonderful, light, breezy, spacious place to enjoy the magic of Hanalei Bay. Waking up to the view of the mountains was most incredible. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Devaki's rental has everything you need to enjoy your stay in beautiful Hanalei. The location was perfect for us, a very short walk to surf and a five minute stroll into town. It is private and quiet and the view of the mountains, waterfalls and rainbows are amazing. Devaki was so helpful and full of information as we were planning our trip. A GREAT value, we would stay again!
