The unique location of Longboat Key is within minutes of downtown Sarasota, the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, museums, fine dining and the infamous shops of St. Armand’s Circle. Over the bridge to the North are the quaint villages of Anna Maria Island. If you want to travel to Tampa you will find the Zoo, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island Water Park. Only 2 hours away will bring you to the “Magic Kingdom” of Disney World, Epcot Center, Sea World and ALL that surrounds Orlando.
The Palm House was aptly named; for it is surrounded by every species of palm trees. The bristling of the tall palms will be heard throughout your stay and the view of the different palm fronds will remain with you long after you have left Longboat key.

- The Palm House has it's own boat dock that accommodates up to a 12' beam. Just 200 paces to your deeded access to the nine mile beautiful Gulf of Mexico white powder beach. Upon your return use the hot/cold outdoor shower. There's a Two car Garage with 4 bicycles, and a wagon filled with beach toys. There are three separate lanais for resting, reading and hanging out on those rare rainy days.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Laguna Yacht Village
My husband and I fell in LOVE with the West coast of Florida 12 years ago when his mom and dad where moving to Bradenton. We found Longboat Key by driving up the west coast of Florida and stopping in each place along the coast. It was LOVE at first site! It feels like the Bahamas to us and remind us of Hawaii. Longboat Key is our paradise away from home. The beautiful water of the gulf and the powder beaches won our hearts! We live on an Island just like longboat key in New York and wouldn't have it any other way...we just couldn't. Longboat key is a special Island that takes your breathe away the moment you drive over the North or South bridge. Sarasota which is just South of LBK is a fabulous city with lots of cultural, great places to eat, shop, dock your boat or yacht, and just enjoy. St. Armands Circle located on Lido Key just off Longboat is a GREAT place to walk by day OR night and find great places to eat and shop. We LOVE it here and hope to live there more someday in the future!
The Unique Benefits at this House
The Palm House is a place that will melt your cares away! It is our home away from home and so we have made it as comfortable as possible for anyone! We live in a gated community of 5 single family homes(just about finished with the gate). The pool is adjacent to our home making it so convenient. There is a hot tub to relax you from a busy day at the beach or on the boat. the beach is a 3 minute walk across the street and you can dock your boat in our boat slip. The home has every amenity that you could think of and it is painted so cheerfully that any room you walk into should bring a smile to your face!

My husband and I own a Real Estate company in New York. Jim has been in the real estate business for 40 years.(he doesn't look that old but he is) Lol. He has 3 older children and we have 1 together! We are proud grandparents of 4 little girls. We love to come to our Longboat Key home to escape the hustle and bustle of our crazy New York life. We visit LBK, not enough, but when we do we enjoy it so much! Our family is very important to us and anytime they can they are here with us.
