Far quieter than most busy resorts, this is one of Maui’s best kept secrets, with direct access to a picturesque, uncrowded sandy swimming beach known for its abundance of tropical fish and gentle sea turtles. Ocean breezes flow through the villa, creating the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of shopping, snorkeling or sight-seeing.
And you’ll be amazed at the high standard of luxury living at this magnificent property - no expense has been spared to make this the best villa in all of Makena Surf. Everything is brand new, from the luxury, 600 thread count linens and soft cotton bathrobes, to the fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, premium, elegant decor, high-tech, flat panel televisions and state of the art electronics.
The open, spacious floor plan includes an expansive Great Room with breath taking ocean views, and three richly appointed bedrooms, with a plush King mattress in the master bedroom, another luxurious King in the first guest bedroom, and two twin beds in the third guest bedroom that can be combined to form a third King if desired. A brand new Queen sofa bed easily accommodates additional guests. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV, there are multiple DVD players, an iPod dock and stereo, two balcony terraces (one a large, wrap-around lanai), private in-villa laundry, BBQ grill, and central air conditioning. An office area complete with a desk, 4-in-1 office machine and office supplies is provided if work calls. Local calls and high speed internet access is free to our guests.
No detail has been missed and our villa is completely supplied with everything a guest might need with a full complement of household goods including kitchen spices, a coffee grinder and coffee maker, extra bed and bath linens, hair dryers, full-sized dish and laundry soap, paper and cleaning supplies, iron and ironing board, and tropical bath treats.
At Makena Surf you’ll enjoy the ambient sound of the ocean and may never want to leave the resort itself, which sits directly on a sandy swimming beach, features two heated swimming pools, two outdoor spas, four tennis courts, lush, tropical landscaping, and is easy walking distance to the Sea Watch Restaurant or championship golf at Wailea Gold and Emerald Golf Clubhouses.

The only place you can start…”the view”. Eleven out of ten people worldwide will go their entire lives without looking in the glory of a multi-million dollar view like this. Gorgeous turquoise, dark and jagged cove is lovely. Whales frolicking across the expansive horizon under the sun slowly called an end to the day. We had dinner thirteen out of fourteen nights watching the wonderful sunsets, then the moon and the stars from the lanai.The kitchen was near perfectly equipped to take advantage of the fresh catch, Mahi Mahi, Ahi, Marlin, etc.The kids, 8 and 2, enjoyed beaches, the pools and the Maui Ocean Center. We played together and even snorkeled with the local turtles.We had booked for eleven days and stretched the party budget to add three more. The staff was courteous, professional and available to help us with our needs. In addition we got lucky enough to meet the owners and look forward to future dealings with them. Great people!The suite at Makena Surf was a reward for four years without a real break or holiday. Heaven on earth!Thanks for everything, M, C, O, D and Grandma How/Eaton

Your place is spectacular with too many great things to list them all. We felt spoiled being able to get up and swim with the turtles, bodysurf and play golf…finishing the day in front of the flat screen watching the Canucks game.
