Perched above the world famous surf break Cardiff Reef. The private Bamboo Beach Cottage comes with 1 queen size bed, 1 full futon/sofa, and 1 bath furnished with everything you would need for the ultimate vacation or extended stay.
Including a 50" flat screen TV, linens, towels, dishes, boogie boards, surfboard upon request, beach chairs, and a parking pass for all the great nearby state beaches. Listen to the surf as you relax on the tropical deck. In Cardiff by the Sea it’s all about the lifestyle!
Going Organic and Green, our gardens have just become certified as an official Backyard Wildlife Habitat Lc#124,034 by the National Wildlife Federation. So, watch for the beautiful butterflies and birds that often visit the area.

Why the Owner Chose Cardiff by the Sea
Cardiff-by-the-Sea has been one of our favorite locations. The surf is world class. There are a lot of famous surfers who live here to practice. The weather is great...not too cold and not too hot. One of the best things about Cardiff is the lifestyle...it is a very laid back town and very family friendly.

Location, Location, Location!!! You can walk to the beach and the great town of Cardiff. There are some wonderful restaurants and the people are super friendly. We offer boogie boards, a surfboard, beach chairs, and a parking pass for all of the great State parks in the area.

We've lived in Cardiff for the last 4 years and LOVE it! This place is the best. The beach is wonderful and there are lots of things to keep us busy in the area. We like to walk to the beach, go kite boarding when it gets windy, ride our bikes, surfing, and kayak. Now that we have a two year old son we are happy to live so close to the great Glen park. We go there almost everyday.

Loved this place. It was exactly as described!! Very clean and VERY cozy! Great location. Everything was close enough to walk to. The beach was just a short walk away. The park just down the street was an added bonus. Also the reserved parking spot is an important item in beach communities. We will be back next year!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely recommend it to our family and friends. The property was exactly what we were expecting, very clean and quiet and a short walk to the beach. We brought our mountain bikes so we were able to bike to everything we wanted to do most of the time. Close to great restaurants and grocery shopping, and there is a lovely park within walking distance to the cottage which is a great place to play frisbee or just watch the kids play and the sunset at the same time! The owners were easy to work with and we felt that our privacy was respected but if we needed anything, they were right there to help. Excellent VRBO rental! Our 9 year old was very comfortable sleeping on the convertible bed and she wanted to stay longer!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children.

Hi We, me and my sons leave back home early friday morning. Thank you, i just loved this little cottage, cardiff and california, everything has been just lovely and better than i ever hoped for. My guests loved this too. I So much hope i can come here back soon and rent your cottage again. I almost envy people who can live here, but Finland is wonderful too and at this point After 8 weeks Im So ready to go home, which was also the point, to stay So long time to be eager to get back home. This cottage was great and small things i had was taken Care immediatly. Thank you and see you again someday. Sirpa

The bamboo beach cottege was perfect for our family with 2 small kids. It was very well decorated and cozy. Also very clean and very close to the ocean. We brought our bikes and were able to bike all around the area. Sean and Erika are extremely helpful and it was so nice to talk to them and get an idea of things to do in the ares. I had looked at A LOT of places on line and needed something reasonably priced. I don't think I could have madea better choice. We can't wait to visit again!

The Bamboo Cottage is a fun place to stay. The owners are super-friendly, the place has easy access to the beach, shops, restaurants and the market, and it was clean. There is a park a half block away. The kitchen is small but use-able. The bed is comfortable. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Hello... we arrived home safely and wanted to drop you a note. We enjoyed our stay in your lovely cottage. I don't think the photos on the website begin to do it justice. It was well appointed and lovely in every way. The decor was delightful (the airbrushing on the surfboad was beautiful and the framed tropical "window" in the bedroom made it feel more open) and the bed comfortable. All of the linens were sumptuous. I appreciate all of the small touches that made our stay pleasant. Thank you again. Wishing you both well, now and into the future. We loved our month’s vacation here, especially the location. It was an easy walk to the beach, the awesome Seaside Market, and the park where we played with our 2 yr. old granddaughter. Erika and Sean, the owners, are so friendly and were very responsive to anything we needed. They have carefully thought out every detail that a vacationer might want. The washer/dryer came in very handy too. Thanks so much for making our visit so enjoyable!

This is the most relaxing place to stay. It is so quiet with only the sound of the ocean waves. The location is excellent for walking to the beach, restaurants, park and neighborhood market. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway close to the beach.
