Very peaceful place but read the fine print. No motorcycles allowed. The driveway is very hard to get into.

Peaceful mountain retreats should be protected. Some create memories that last a lifetime. Please feel free to read the guidelines, it's designed to allow your experience to be an enjoyable, quiet escape. Feel free to look at my previous rental reviews.

We rented this cabin for our anniversary and were very pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin. we had never stayed in that part of NC before so it was a welcome change.
Madaline was an amazing host. Very beautiful and super clean cavin in nice quite piece of mountains. Anything we needed was there plus. Will definitely be back next year for another stay.
enjoyed our stay very much----Madeleine was a great host---
Beautiful setting---could hear the brook flowing in the quiet of the morning and evening---place was great---would like to see them add a queen size or king size bed as the full bed was a little tight for sleeping two.
the accommodations were great!

Enjoyed our short stay, where we relaxed, walked the area each day, binged watched some shows and finished a puzzle. Great location, peaceful, cozy and had everything we needed. Will keep this on our list for our annual Maggie Valley getaway.

I was my pleasure having such caring guests at the Johnson Branch Cabin. I also love the picnic area and fire pit along the Johnson Branch Creek. Watching the creek tumbling down after a large rain is so relaxing.
Hope to have you back anytime.
We loved this cabin! It's one of the cleanest rentals I've ever been in. The location is very peaceful, you can hear the creek from the cabin. The grounds are very well kept. Madeleine was very kind and great to work with. Will definitely be going back!
My sister and I loved the although my sister got sick and was admitted to the hospital. I was able to stay and felt safe. Madeleine was very nice and concerned about my sister.
Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your cabin with us. Really great time and easy to use appliances/hottub etc.
Dog friendly. Not cat friendly.
Close to town, and more privacy then expected.

About the host
Hosted by Madeleine Kenowski
Hello there and welcome to my cabins. I was born in Lausanne Switzerland and after spending a few years in Wisconsin and Florida, I realized how much I missed the Alps. My husband and I bought this beautiful piece of property a few years back, built our home and three cabins. This is not a rental complex all cabins are very private.
Why they chose this property
The setting of my cabins is unlike many others. Not only will you be closed to town but you will also have the privacy you are looking for. I am always around to take care of what ever needs you might have and you will not have to rely on a property manager.
What makes this property unique
Privacy, sound of the Johnson Branch Creek. Cabins well taken care of. So peaceful, you will get the rest you are looking for.
