Romantic Cabin Escape Near Fallen Leaf Lake
Trade the hustle of everyday life for the peace and romance of the mountains at this charming, dog-friendly South Lake Tahoe cabin. Nestled among towering pines and just steps from Fallen Leaf Lake, this secluded retreat is the perfect hideaway for two.
Inside, warm wood-paneled ceilings and rustic accents set the stage for cozy evenings together. Curl up on the sofa with a glass of wine as the wood-burning fireplace crackles, or enjoy a classic movie from the cabin’s collection.
In the morning, sip coffee on the private deck as the sun filters through the trees, or fire up the gas grill for a dinner under the stars. With no WiFi, you’ll have the rare chance to truly unplug and focus on each other.
The fully equipped kitchen makes preparing meals easy, whether it’s a hearty breakfast before a day on the trails or a romantic dinner for two.
Sleeping arrangements:
Upstairs: Cozy queen bed + additional doubles
Downstairs: Twin beds in the open living area
Spend your days walking hand-in-hand along lakeside trails, renting a boat for a serene afternoon on the water, or exploring nearby Lake Tahoe with kayaking, beachside picnics, and sunset strolls. Then return to your cabin retreat for quiet evenings, laughter over board games, and fireside relaxation.
If you’re looking for a romantic escape with the perfect balance of seclusion and adventure, this Tahoe cabin is waiting for you.

Things to Know
Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may see these animals in or near your home.
With the remote location of this property, there is no internet or cable. There is a cell phone booster in the cabin so that people can still get service, but it is spotty. This is a property for people who want to disconnect from the outside world. Be sure to print out your home guide before arriving.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Dock details: This home is part of an HOA, giving it access to a dock that can be used to hang out on, but not for boats. Guests can walk downhill on the left of the cabin to Fallen Leaf Road, turn left, or south, and go about 100 yards. Lakeview is on the right side of the road, there are stairs and a green hand rail that go down to the L-shaped dock. There is also a long row of lockers.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
