In January 2014 we installed new porcelain flooring, repainted and updated the furniture. We also added a new Samsung HD LED television to the main living area. Enjoy every moment of your vacation in this well appointed and spacious unit.
Be aware of other units within this complex showing less expensive rates. Unlike those properties, our condo does not look out over parking lots or busy roads. Our condo is the highest elevated bottom floor unit in the Plantation, with a lanai view of the beautiful garden/pool area and just minutes to the beach.
Amenities include: Pool/Garden view (NOT STREETS AND PARKING LOTS), Central Air Conditioning, master bedroom king size memory foam mattress, Pack and Play, Three TV's. NEW HD TV in living room and master BR, comfy queen in second bedroom, fully stocked kitchen, indoor washer/dryer, garage, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, DVD player, books, and a large collection of movies...everything you need to relax and enjoy your down time!
The pool, hot tub and grilling area is a great place to relax. There is a fitness room with cardio equipment, a universal gym and free weights to keep you in top shape. Enjoy golfing at the world class Makai and Prince Golf Courses which are just moments away.
You won’t want to leave this Island paradise. Plan to stay a week or more! We know you will love it, just as we did when we first visited. You will want to come back again and again!
If you have to do any work while you are here there is a business room and a fax machine available (located in community room). There is WiFi Internet within the unit as well as at the business center in the community building.

We both enjoy traveling for work and pleasure and have visited a number of locations in the South Pacific including Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and most all of the Hawaiian Islands. The island of Kauai is simply the nicest place that we have ever been!
After many vacations here we decided to buy this unit because of it's unique location and unprecedented amenities.
The Plantation is literally across the street from the Makai Golf Course and is centrally located within Princeville. We enjoy walking to The St. Regis Resort (20 min.), Queen's Bath (20 Min.) and to the Princeville Shopping Center (15 Min.) Having stayed at The Plantation on three consecutive vacations, we realized what a great complex this really is.
Enjoying a cup of coffee on the lanai while the trade winds rustle the branches of the palm trees nearby. Walking the footpath along the Makai golf course all the way to the lookout over Hanalai Bay. Counting whale spouts and breaches. Relaxing in the hot tub after a day on the Kalalau Trail. Farmer's markets, movies in the room, a quick morning workout in the recreation center, dinner at St. Regis, The Dolphin or The Westin, unique island fruits, double rainbows, counting sea turtles at Queen's Bath, napping on Hanalei Beach, bright sunshine, pristine mountain and beach scenery unlike anywhere else in the world....what's not to love about Kauai?
This is a very well stocked, well taken care of condo. Ample room, close to pool, quiet and calm area in Princeville. Very clean. Everything and more we could've possibly needed in the kitchen. Fantastic grill available by the pool. Pool and hot tub are close, but you won't hear anyone who is swimming. Washer and dryer worked wonderfully, and were so convenient to have. Master bed is very comfortable. Master bath and closet have ample room. (two rooms and two bathrooms, although it was just my husband and I, and we only used the master side) Kauai is too beautiful to watch much TV but it did work perfectly and great stereo system with CD's and movies and books to choose from also. So impressed with all the available items for guests also - such as beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, freezer packs, and more. In case you haven't visited Kauai yet, Princeville is also maybe the best area on the island to stay; and when you tell other travelers or locals where you are staying, they acknowledge that too! Several good little hikes from the condo area and a couple close amazing lookout points. The little town area of Princeville has some good restaurants and dessert places. The North Shore of Kauai really is the place to be and I very much recommend staying at this condo!!
Property and facilities were 1st class, a very comfortable condo with everything you need.
We loved the condo--roomy with plenty of breezes blowing through. Huge bathrooms, close to the pool, and in the best part of Kauai--Princeville. Having an in-house washer and dryer was super convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner in the condo nearly every night. Clean, well furnished, and no stress! You can't help but want to come back to this place again.
We had an excellent stay here for 9 days in July, 2016. The condo was fantastic!
Here's some details of our stay:
The Condo: The condo has high ceilings and an open design. It has a very nice décor. The bedrooms were roomy and the bathrooms were huge! We felt right at home very quickly. The furniture was very comfortable and all of the bedding and linens are top quality. The kitchen has nice full size appliances and lots of utensils. The large patio overlooks the tropical garden and pool area. Our daughter swam in the pool almost everyday and loved it!
The wifi had strong signal strength throughout the condo and had pretty good speed. The cable tv had a decent choice of channels. There are 3 TV's, one in each bedroom and one in the main living room. There is also a washer and dryer which we used a couple times. We also used the gym (in the activity center across from the pool) and it was nice and had both weights and cardio equipment.
Another great thing was all of the beach equipment there at the condo. Lots of beach towels, 6 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, 3 coolers, and plenty of beach toys for the kids. Just bring swimsuits and sunscreen, everything else is ready to go!
Location: Right in the heart of Princeville. Very convenient to everything on the north shore. We were all over the island during our stay, but liked the north shore area the best. Lots of things within walking distance or a quick car ride away. Whether it was beaches, restaurants, shopping, hiking, watersports, everything is right there. Almost every night we walked right down the street and watched the sunset at a scenic overlook just a few blocks away. Beautiful!

We had a four night stay and we just loved it. So much room and great décor as well the kitchen utensils were in abundance. Would recommend this unit for anyone.
Spacious two bedroom/two bath ground floor unit with beautiful garden view of pool area off back lanai. Large hot tub adjacent to pool, both of which were squeaky clean, as was the unit itself. King size bed in master and queen size in second bedroom, both of which had comfortable mattresses. Readily accessible to walking paths on nearby golf course and within easy walking distance to Princeville Shopping Center and grocery. Also an easy walk to several resorts, including the upscale St. Regis. Just a couple of miles from Hanalei Bay, the land of Puff the Magic Dragon. I have traveled a lot in my sixty years, and this was the trip of a lifetime in a wonderful accommodation!
Driving directions from Lihue Airport
Take Hwy 51 to Hwy 56 and follow north to Princeville. Turn right at the Princeville neighborhood (St. Regis Sign) (Ka Haku Rd) and follow road to Pepelani loop. Turn left into the Plantation.
