CLEAN, well-equippled condo excellent access to pool and ocean. Plus comfortable beds!

  • 5 of 5

Waipouli and H104 are very clean, well equipped, comfortable and nicely located. Foodland and Safeway across the street are very convenient and helped us to not over shop for food knowing either was a quick walk away. Many good but casual places to eat nearby as well. The condo is well laid out with nice furniture, good beds, outside patio furniture and great appliances. (Tip, don't hold the dryer's 'start' button on too long as it starts then quits. A quick push works just fine.) We enjoyed being ground level allowing us to walk directly outside with just a very short walk to the beach, pool, Oasis restaurant/bar, nice gas BBQ grills and koi pond (feedings at 8:30 am daily). The condo is quiet despite being near the pool.

Waipouli is a great place to stay with children. The perfect temperature river type pool only gets 4 feet at it's deepest. Has fun slides and waterfalls. The baby pool is perfect and warmed just right. Pool towels, noodles and baby floats (the type babies sit in) are available at pool side. Condo owner and rental property manager are very prompt to respond, helpful and a pleasure to work with. You will not be disappointed when renting H 104 at Waipouli.

Fun for the kids

  • 4 of 5

The pool and water slides were a huge hit. Nice little restaurant on site too. A bit expensive, but that's what you get I guess. Suite was very well appointed, comfortable beds, tons of room, huge bathrooms. There was a pipe burst 3 floors above us, and we had some water damage in our suite. Candace (rental manager) was very quick to relocate us, and she provided us with a gift card for the restaurant, she was awesome to deal with. Would have been 5 stars if not for the relocation headache. But things happen.

Wonderful Presidents' Day week getaway!

  • 5 of 5

The house was great, love the first floor access, and pool was really awesome. Especially liked sand-bottomed jacuzzis.

This is first time staying on east shore, and was great location for visiting both north shore and south shore lights and beaches.

House was clean and updated, kitchen well stocked, and could not believe three bathrooms in 2 bedroom. Great!

Great location on resort!

  • 4 of 5

It was our first time to Kauai and did a lot of research on the island… but to keep it short and sweet and to the condo (mostly) I have to say that overall the condo was very comfortable. It was just my husband and I so having the extra bedroom was nice for luggage and gifts. As for the second bedrooms shower…well I didn't care for it at all lol. I tried using it the night we landed and water went everywhere and I was to short to try to adjust the head and I never tried to use it again so I don't know if it was me or a faulty shower head. Everything else in the condo was absolutely perfect. The bed was great! The location was fantastic. So close to the pool and beach.

One thing I wish I did know before choosing this location was that while the beach was beautiful but you couldn't get in the water due to coral and tons of rocks. So that part was a little disappointing but no big deal. On one of the nice days we ended up going to Hanalei Bay which is by far the best beach in Kauai!! And on another nice day we went up the road a few miles and tried that beach as well. I don't remember what it was called but although it was rougher it was still fun :) The pool at the resort was great when you didn't feel like leaving and we enjoyed that too. We were there 10 days and unfortunately we got rained on quite a bit so needless to say I was glad to have the extra space in the condo when tours got cancelled, the workout room close by, and a convenient location to figure out whether we wanted to drive north or south, both being about a 30 minute ride.

So overall, I would say that the location to the resort was great for a first time to Kauai since we were there to explore but if you are there to get in the beach, well you might be disappointed. Condo was fantastic though and can't say enough about the location to that. Hope this helps future travelers :)

Relaxing getaway, beautiful location, highly recommended

  • 5 of 5

It's hard to know where to start! The condo is top notch in every way. Super clean and well organized. When you arrive, they even have your free parking pass ready for you in the unit. (Some condos in Kauai charge for parking) The owner was easy and reasonable to work with. We had no issues while we were there, but did check in with the housekeeper, Sheila on our last day for some guidance. She was super friendly. The unit has an open concept living/dining area, which was wonderful for entertaining and socializing. The bedrooms are on opposite ends of the condo, providing privacy, and each has a full ensuite bath with double sinks, a soaking tub and stand up shower. There were ample towels and linens, and the pool staff provides you with pool towels to check out as needed. We loved that each bedroom had it's own outdoor space with seating. The unit has a total of 4 sliding glass doors to take in the view and enjoy the tropical breezes. Each room has a ceiling fan, or you can stay cool with the central air. The ground floor location provides easy access to the beach or to the pool. I spent many mornings watching the beautiful sunrise on the beach with my coffee. Having a full sized washer and dryer in the unit was extremely convenient. The location is central on the island for traveling north or south, depending on the weather and your preferences. Public transportation also travels along this corridor. We enjoyed shopping across the street at Foodland, Safeway, or Papaya's Natural Foods and Café. They serve amazing prepared vegetarian items and have incredible produce. We also loved going to Starbucks in the afternoon for Frappuccino happy hour. Don't miss out on the local farmer's markets, especially Kapaa, Wednesday at 3. You will find amazing local produce and flowers. We cooked quite a bit in our unit, and loved having fresh fruits and veggies. We also used the pool side BBQ's. Overall, it was such an amazing time. We enjoyed our surroundings as well as the local activities, such as kayaking, zip lining, and snorkeling. We give the unit 5 stars! Mahalo Elke!
