Week at Acorn cottage
I would have appreciated knowing that the property was on a gravel road with huge potholes in route. There is no visible marking of the property number, if you have never been before, and you see no street number you are lost as to where to go.
The home is lovely. The beds were very comfortable. The ability to get the TV to work and pull up Netflix or other services was very difficult. This needs to be addressed to discover what the problem is.
We enjoyed our week, in spite of these issues.
Wonderful cottage in the woods!
We had a wonderful time at Acorn Falls. We would recommend this property to everyone who wants to spend time in Highlands. Missy was a great host. We hope to visit again soon.
Scott,Thanks for the strong recommendation. Looking forward to having you back soon! Best, Missy
I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had. Cabin was super cute, modern and had all the luxuries of home. The owner Missy was amazing and so kind throughout our entire stay, we will be back for sure!!

Beautifully designed and furnished with high quality fixtures and linens. Location is excellent...feels secluded yet is a 15 minute walk into town. Would certainly recommend to others and would personally rent again. Owner is very responsive and helpful.

About Missy Woolf
Hey, I’m Missy! I am a melting pot child but mostly grew up in Augusta, GA. I started a business, Infanteenie Beenie, which provides baby hats worldwide. However, I recently gifted my business to my children so that I could live my dream of renovating cottages and providing a cozy getaway for guests. I’m fun, easy-going and really love meeting new people through Airbnb. I have met some great people on the platform who I now call my friends. My favorite thing in the world is music (I play guitar!), Peloton, boating, dancing, deep-sea fishing, beer flights, a nice red wine, photography, and original artwork. I especially love the smell of the marsh, the sound of palm trees dancing in the wind, and the spectacular views of the long-range mountains. I look forward to talking with you and hope to host you at one of my cottages!

Why Missy Woolf chose Highlands
From the moment you step into the entry you can feel the charm of this cottage.
What makes this House unique
I fell in love with the historic aspect of the property. I am drawn to historic homes. I enjoy old doors, old knobs and creaks in the floors. I had an immediate connection with this cottage and felt it was my job to bring it back to life.
