Wonderful for family vacation! Great space to be together, so much room and fantastic table for games. Back deck is amazing and the creek area is so relaxing. My grandkids learned to ride bicycles here this weekend, which is only a small example of just how special this place is. Manitou Springs is so walkable with great food and lots to do. This rental is top of the list!

Ideally located for exploring Manitou Springs and the surrounding area, the house was exceptionally comfortable, not to mention absolutely beautiful. We were delighted with how well equipped the kitchen was, how well furnished the rooms were, and how welcoming the outdoor spaces were (especially since we visited during a heat wave and while there was a lot of smoke from fires in the region). Everyone loved the house and are thinking about the next trip to Manitou even if just to stay here again.

What a fantastic property! The house’s bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces comfortably housed our group of 8 people where everyone had plenty of room to spread out and we appreciated the historic yet updated charm. When our group grew to 14 people for a BBQ, there was easy parking for everyone and it was the perfect entertaining property with multiple outdoor spaces for us to relax, socialize, and play lawn games. We enjoyed sitting next to the creek in the shade of the mature trees as well as sitting under the covered porch when a thunderstorm arrived. It was extremely quiet even though its close proximity to downtown.

The place is amazing and beautiful. The only slightly negative thing is no air conditioning downstairs, so the downstairs bedroom was a little warm for sleeping. Other than that, the place is gorgeous! The master upstairs is to die for!!

It’s a very nice property to be able to do a variety of things. Sit by the fire pit and listen to the creek flowing by, sit out back on the deck, or sit in one of several cozy rooms with comfy couches and chairs. Plenty of space for all! The house is close enough to walk into town to go shopping too.

Absolutely So perfect!!! Location of the house the layout of the property and the wonderfully beautiful house itself. Not to mention all the interesting history of the house!!! Perfect location and lovely area. Love the history of the house.Very comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. Great place to host our pre- Wedding Party but we had clean off debris from large back porch and furniture. Also had to clean off chairs near creek and fire pit. There was a conflict on total charges which i have never encountered with the numerous VRBO bookings we have done. It ended up being twice what I thought and would have canceled but we already had a party planned.

Beautiful historic property on the quiet west end of Manitou. Furnishings were stylish and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped.This was our second stay in this property. This time we hosted two dinners for our children and grand children. The master suite is perfect. The large bath area included a dressing room and a towel warmer.Parking was plentiful and free.We hope to return soon.

The house and property was gorgeous. Large fully stocked kitchen - perfect for making a Thanksgiving meal for family. Four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2 living rooms. Had everything you needed. Perfect place for 6 fun friends in their early 70's

The owner and the VRBO contact were wonderful working with us and answering all of our questions. It's a beautiful property and so well situated to the wonderful historic town.

Perfect location! Easy walk to park, arcade, restaurants, and shops. Communication with host and owner was fantastic. Loved hearing firsthand about the history of the property. Comfortable, clean, well-appointed. Kids and kids at heart loved the video game and board games. Such a gem; would love to stay again!
