Cozy lodge-like house nestled in the woods, renovated with updated amenities. Indoor/outdoor living located directly across the street from the beach and around the corner from the Point Reyes National Seashore. A short drive to world famous wilderness trails, expansive beaches, lighthouse, oysters, food and wine. Stunning views of Tomales Bay and the West Marin hillside from the house and a large outdoor deck. Kayak and standup paddle rental located within a block. Wildlife refuge and bird watching heaven.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
* Load/run dishwasher - will pop open to dry after cycle.
 * Empty trash, compost and recycling. Bring trash cans to curb - facing street with bungee cords must be securing lids. 
Place any dirty/wet towels on floor or in sink of laundry room (please do not place in washer, where they may get moldy)
Place outdoor cushions in deck box / and front chair cushions inside dining room - * Lock front and back doors (3 total)
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We don't allow parties on the property or groups over 6 adults. The house is in a quiet neighborhood near National and State parks.
There's room for 3 cars in the parking area. Please contact owner if additional parking is needed. The driveway and walk to beach are up/down a hill.
There is absolutely no cigarette smoking anywhere on the property.

Wonderful, well-stocked and appointed home in a prime location! We loved the super comfy beds, deck seating, outdoor shower, and the “surprise” half bath. Everybody in the family lined up for it, lol! The front and back decks were great for stargazing as well. The meteor shower and moonrise were beautiful. Easy self check-in/checkout. We’ve stayed at this house multiple times and love it more each time. The home is comfortable and very well appointed. The. I’m on areas are relaxing and perfect for our family - 8 of us! Everyone had their own space and the kids had lots of books to entertain them. Highly recommend this home!!!

Family Stay

We stayed three nights at this property with our two small kids (1yo, 3yo) and had a great time! There were lots of toys to keep them occupied and kid friendly items that made our stay that much easier. We were close enough to walk to Chicken Ranch Beach and a short drive from breakfast in the morning and fun things to do with kids. Communication with the host was easy, just make sure to screen shot check-in instructions since service is spotty at the house!

Fantastic property with Amazing views

We stayed here with for a family gathering. Other family members live close by, so we have visited the area often, but this property was the nicest place we’ve stayed. The wrap around deck was wonderful for relaxing with fantastic views. The sunken living room was also a favorite gathering spot, with plenty of opportunities for entertainment and conversation. There was an extraordinarily well equipped kitchen, and even plenty of children’s toys and games. This house has it all and is perfect for family vacations. Nice location with easy accessibility to town and the National Seashore beaches and hiking trails.

Amazing Christmas!

We loved everything about this house for Christmas with our family. The spaces and bedrooms were comfortable for all of us and we loved the design of the house in that the design took advantage of the beautiful water views. This is also a great home for families because there were a lot of toys, as well as an electronic keyboard, guitar, etc. the kitchen was very well-appointed, also. The location is close to Point Reyes Lighthouse and trails and don’t get me started about the wonderful cheese in the area! This is a Christmas we will always remember!

Peaceful house in a lovely spot

We had a wonderful stay in Inverness. The house was wonderful--clean, comfortable to live in, and with an amazing view of Tomales Bay. Everyone in our group raved about how much they loved the house and the area. The view from the living room is gorgeous and the house has everything you need! Very comfortable and charming home. Terrific view of Tomales Bay. Peaceful and quiet location across the street from Chicken Ranch Beach. Kitchen was very well equipped. The home is well located for exploring Pt Reyes National Seashore and it's many beaches and hiking trails. Some great restaurants nearby including spots for local oysters. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit the region!
