The Viking House is a lovely place to stay in Jenner. I knew I just had to spend some time on the deck there, which was truly amazing. We saw so many birds and a seal. The accommodations were comfortable. I loved the claw foot tub. We had a minor issue with the shower and told Diane about it before we left. She has assured me that everything is back to normal. When we're back in the area, we will stay here again.

Viking House is a comfortable home, with spectacular views of the Russian River and Goat Rock Beach. It's a short walking distance to cafes, market, kayak rental, visitor center, etc. Our host was gracious and responsive regarding a cleaning issue. We enjoyed our stay so much that we didn't want to leave!

Viking House was an incredibly charming home with an unbeatable view of the Russian River, Goat Rock Beach, and the Pacific. The home is walkable to a couple of cafes and kayak rentals. The house was stocked with all the essentials. Especially noteworthy was the history of Jenner and the property. We enjoyed our home away from home on an anniversary trip and would love to stay here again!

This was a last-minute weekend reset, and I'm so glad I picked this property! It checked every box, and I had a wonderfully peaceful and easy weekend...just what I had in mind. The view from the back patio was amazing, and I had the extra good luck to catch the full moon over the water! Epic! I will definitely be back...it has everything you want and is close to whatever you need. Perfect property!

Overall this was great and the river view deck was fabulous. We loved the weekend and had a great time. The only issue we had is my one of us is very sensitive to mold and mildew and the downstairs had just enough to force us to stay upstairs. If you are sensitive to the challenge of being near the water and dampness be aware. We kayaked, hiked the coast and loved the weekend in Jenner.

This property was a great place to stay and in a beautiful location. Just a few comments. There was considerable spider webs outside in the front and back deck on the house and all the outdoor furniture, making it difficult to enjoy the outside views. I killed two large spiders in the lower floor in the bedroom and bathroom during our stay. There was deck construction happening at the next-door house the entire stay, which I can not blame the host for but was unfortunate timing and was very loud. The shower faucet had a lot of mineralization/mold buildup on it which could be fixed with a new faucet. Besides my few comments it was a very nice place to stay.

This is a wonderful place that was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful location, clean, and well maintained. Our pets were accepted, and they enjoyed the stay as well. This was our first experience using VRBO, and we can't imagine a better "first time".

A wonderful place for a long, relaxing weekend away.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We cooked all our meals on the premises, went for walks, read books, and generally relaxed.

It was a perfect spot for a get away. Views were spectacular. Quiet, lovely, beautiful, clean. Kitchen was very functional. Within walking distance of many fun opportunities. Only minor issue was the bed was not made upon arrival and the lovely home was heated by space heaters - and a bit chilly upon arrival because the space heaters were turned off and we were there on a chilly weekend. Overall, great experience and would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay! The open kitchen was perfect for cooking and gathering, and the views were simply exceptional. We were lucky enough to visit during seal pup season, which made the experience even more magical. We will definitely be back!

Diane was thorough in her instructions before our arrival and responsive, kind and understanding when we had to delay our arrival to the property due to an emergency with one of our pups.
