Cute little house in quiet neighborhood. Our kids loved the decor of the home. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and great for cooking and eating at the little bar area. Our check in was easy and the owners were easy to get in touch with and responded quickly.
This was a super-cool property in a great location. The house is filled with fun custom details, and is within walking distance to great dining, shopping and a nice park. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks for a fantastic stay!!!
Everything was great! Located close to lots of great places to eat, shop and sightsee. The craftsmanship of the work in the house was incredible. Very cool place to stay, had everything we needed. Definitely stay there again!
Cute little house in a convenientarea of Old Colorado Springs. 10-15 min to most of the big attractions and walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Old Colorado Springs.
We picked the property due to the great location and it did not disappoint. Place inside was much nicer than the pictures online. The backyard was nice for hanging out and the large TV in the living room was great for relaxing.
This home has so many artistic functional and decorative touches, in a blend of styles. Very comfortable. Good value. Great location close to lots of visitor activities (Garden of the Gods, cliff dwelling, cave, Pikes Peak railway, Michael Garman museum (walkable).
The house was fabulous. The industrial metal decor was very impressive, someone spent a lot of heart and energy on that and it was very impressive. We weren't familiar with Colorado Springs and this property is in an older part of town so upon our first arrival we were a bit confused on the quality of the neighborhood but that turned out to be a non-issue. However, we did have a "druggie" walk up to our door and try to chat with us because he thought we were trying to talk to him from the house. Drugs and homelessness seem to be a very common problem in the area. All in all no complaints at all. This was our very first VRBO booking and it was a success!
My granddaughter and her family stayed. She said they loved the cozy house. They liked the deck and yard, and that they were very comfortable. We went to watch the kids for a little bit. We loved the house, very impressed with the industrial artwork. Very elaborate. I forwarded this to my granddaughter.
VRBO was nice. Quite eclectic, but well kept and clean. We had a smoke detector chirping and Johnny came over right away to replace batteries. There were 2 queen beds and a twin so it was perfect for our family. Cornhole in the back porch area and we grilled brats the first night. Overall was a cozy place. Location was perfect as well in Colorado City area on the west side of Colorado Springs and reasonably close to wherever we wanted to go. Neighborhood was a little "iffy" but the property itself has a nice privacy fence.
It was a delight to stay on this unique, creative property. Clearly, there is a metal worker and a concrete worker involved because of all of the amazing artistic touches done throughout the whole house. The front and backyard are imaginatively landscaped - again, artists at work here!! For a smaller house, there was the perfect amount of space, including two good size bedrooms and smaller, but equally great room with the twin bed. The open space from the living room to the kitchen, and even out onto the shaded deck, flowed with good energy, high ceilings, and a skylight. The creatively enclosed front courtyard and porch were also a lovely place to spend time. We didn’t really use all the stuff available, but it was all there, including a cool gas fireplace huge TVs, and excellent Wi-Fi. Honestly, wish we could’ve been there for a week instead of just three days! So we may be back, especially to visit the sweet neighbor cat who stopped by and said hello. (Also got to meet the nice neighbor.) A quick note on the neighborhood: this is not a fancy gated community. But if you’re looking for an area with lots of character that is walkable and surrounded by fantastic restaurants and easy access to the Red Rocks Barn event space, hiking, Garden of the Gods, so many great places, then this is it!
Amazing little house! Unique design inside and out really cool and relaxing. Close to Garden of the Gods and the Pinery on the Hill. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants Old Colorado City.
We enjoyed our stay at this little house in OCC. The feel was a bit different from what we are used to, as it was more industrial than "warm and cozy" but we knew this when we booked and nonetheless we had a great weekend stay! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen skylight made for a beautiful bright sunny kitchen in the mornings, the fireplace in the livingroom was nice to have as well. Loved the "dreamy art" decor on the walls.
There is a very nice outdoor space with a deck & patio, corn hole to play (except there was no bags that we could find), lots of seating in the fenced backyard.
It is very close to many attractions; Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, cute little shops, many local breweries and restaurants.
Johnny was accommodating to our stay and usually was working next door to the property during the day if we needed anything. The extra locks on the doors was nice to feel safer, being in the city. BONUS: We saw a HUGE buck right in the backyard beyond the fence!! That was pretty cool!
One thing to note, please clean the dead bugs out of the window sills. That's all. :)
Thank you for the stay!
