What a fantastic little cabin!

Amazing stay! The road is a bit scary getting up to the cabin but once there, it is very lovely. Beautiful view! Easy instructions to get in, etc. My husband saw a bear once during our stay. Was super exciting! Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay and experience

Property was exactly as shown and as expected. Host was more than welcoming and available. Excellent location and just minutes into all the amenities of Gatlinburg. We enjoyed the full kitchen as we stopped for groceries in town. The view was breathtaking and the hot tub was so relaxing !!! This property is a must stay if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed !!! Kudos the Andrew for offering such an amazing cabin !

Honeymoon Oasis

We were very impressed by the decor of bears (a specialty for us) and the stunning view. The hot tub was relaxing. The bedroom was wonderfully accessible and accommodating. We would loved to spend more time.

Gorgeous cabin that made our trip even better! The view is gorgeous! The hot tub was so relaxing! Pictures are exactly what you get! The one lane road to the cabin was a wee bit scary at night but we made it!

The home was very pretty. The communication with the owners were great. The check in process was easy. Any mild "issues" we had i would say was probably a maintenance person and cleaning person "issue". Nothing serious. ButBut

Spent Thanksgiving 2023 here with my beautiful girlfriend. Amazing views and beautiful cabin. Everything was top notch and the owners were very attentive and available. Will definitely be back!

Awesome View

This was a nice place with a great view of the mountains. Such a nice way to end in the night, relaxing in the hot tub while looking at the mountains. Since it’s in the mountains, it is a relatively steep climb to get to the home. The house was hard to find because we couldn’t locate the house number from the road but we finally found it (the driveway is somewhat hidden bc of the angle)For the most part, the host was responsive. We couldn’t find the sheets for the pull out couch so we had to use the sheets from the bed. We didn’t find out until the next day that the sheets were in the laundry room.It says it sleeps four and I guess that’s probably fine if you have kids who can sleep on the pull out couch but there’s only one bedroom (but that was fine for us).Aside from the climb and not finding the sheets, it was a great place to stay. Beautiful view and home and the hot tub was fantastic.

Fall Getaway

I’m not sure where to start! This cabin is absolutely perfect for two people who want to unwind and enjoy a wonderful mountain vacation! The cabin was immaculate and so comfy. The kitchen is well appointed and I loved how we could see the view from it…and let’s talk about that view!! Even though there are cabins close by the view is unobstructed and so gorgeous! Hands down the best view of any cabin we’ve ever stayed in. Location is secluded so there’s lots of privacy but it’s also conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Andrew is so helpful and responsive…a true pleasure to work with! I can’t say enough great things about this cabin. It’s definitely our go to from now on if it’s just my husband and me. Can’t wait to visit again!

First Married couple get away in years

We had a great time! The house was very clean and well laid out. The owners also took the time to make sure everything was in order and that we made it okay. Our favorite part was getting in that hot tub after walking around Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge all day! We would highly recommend!

Overall happy

Overall happy but a few things were a bit upsetting during our stay: 1. Hot tub had things floating in it and did not seem like it was cleaned before getting there 2. Cleaners were not done cleaning by 4pm when we arrived 3. Found it odd that we would have the air running while we were gone (so we didn’t have to return to a house just as hot as outside after hiking, walking, ect) but it was always about 80 degrees in the cabin when we would return and within minutes of us returning it would turn back on (almost as if the camera was being watched for when we came and went). This was frustrating as it would then take hours for the cabin to cool back down. Overall happy and beautiful views. Cool to see mama bear and her babies!

Second Honeymoon

This is our second try using Vrbo. Our first exerience did not go well, so we were a little nervous about this trip. It DID NOT disappoint!!!! Perfect cabin for my husband and myself to do a honeymoon redo. Super quiet. There is a cabin to your right and left but there's enough trees and brush that you can't see them. So you feel much more secluded! It does take a few minutes to get to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, but for peace and quiet away from all the hustle, it is SO worth it! It's clean and is fully stocked like a house would be. One of my favorite parts is that it's not covered from ceiling to floor with kitchy bear knick knacks. It's minimal!!!! The re-use of the reclaimed wood added to the charm and character of this cabin as well. Communication with Andrew and Amael was easy. We didn't need them except at check in due to user error. They got right back with us and were very pleasant! Overall, our stay was absolutely perfect!!! We even got to see a bear our last morning off the back deck!! We thank you so much and we look forward to our next trip!!!

Favorite rental ever!

This property is incredible! The cabin itself is updated nicely with all of the amenities you could desire. However, the real prize is the incredible view of the mountains from the deck. The location is great - close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for anything you want to do, but far enough away to feel like you are in another world. The road to get to the property is a bit difficult and scary to navigate, especially in the dark, but that is to be expected in the mountains. Overall this is my favorite place that I have ever stayed at with a rental property. Does have a sleeper sofa in the living room but I would suggest this place is better suited for 2 people. The hot tub was also a great perk to have, especially with the beautiful views and privacy it offers. HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone!

May Be the Nicest Cabin We've Stayed In

The wife and I combine our anniversary (36th) and Christmas shopping with a little trip to get away from home. The last eighteen years we have rented a cabin in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. This cabin was our favorite of all of the cabins we have rented. The cabin is clean, comfortable, equipped with everything we needed, and very relaxing. We have always looked for a new cabin to stay in every year, but I think next year the decision is already made. We will return to "Baby Bear", it's just that nice.

Spectacular views!

This cabin was amazing for a couple that just needed to get away. Fantastic views, wonderful hot tub, very clean, and great location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This was our 1st time renting a cabin, but won’t be our last because of the wonderful experience at Baby Bear!

Absolutely amazing visit in the smokies. This cabin was the icing on the cake.

We absolutely loved this property The host Amael was an amazing host. He was very easy to communicate with and very prompt. The views were perfect and the have 2 awesome decks to enjoy them from. I’m not a hot tub type of guy normally but our family truly enjoyed it after our hikes through the mountains. So relaxing with absolutely phenomenal views. The kids even watched the movie as I and the wife enjoyed conversation and drinks. Absolutely perfect!! The distance from Gatlinburg and pigeon forge was just right as perfect. Less than 10 mins for either. Even though we tried to stay away from both for the most part. We did take the kids for the sky bridge, mysterious mansion, dinners etc… The traffic is terrible so I suggest hit as early as possible for a headache free vaca. The place was clean and comfortable all the way around we will definitely stay again and highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay with views.
