Our cottage is the perfect choice for families on vacation or anyone who’s looking for the comforts of home while on a getaway to the ocean. A one minute walk on a private path brings you to one of the most beautiful beaches on Cape Cod. Stay here and spend your days soaking in the sun, surf and sand oceanside or just relax in our spacious lawn or outdoor patio-complete with outdoor shower, swing, grill, firepit etc. We are conveniently located 3 miles to downtown Harwichport and 3 miles to downtown Chatham providing you with lots of options if you choose to venture away from the beach.

Fully remodeled in 2021, with a maximum occupancy of four, our air conditioned cottage offers guests two bedrooms, one bath plus outdoor shower and a fully equipped kitchen. One bedroom features a queen size bed and the other two twin beds. You’ll find a comfortable living space with a flat screen TV. We have a swing, patio, firepit and beach accessories including beach wagon, towels, beach chairs and toys and cooler. Bed and bath linens provided with the rental.

An easy walk to the beach grants you the choice between relaxing on famous Ridgevale Beach or an adjacent private beach. Along with stunning views of Nantucket Sound, beachside amenities include wake board and kayak rentals, a snack bar and restrooms. You can walk or bike to some Chatham favorites like, Marion's Pie Shop, Mom n Pops Restaurant, Kreme N Kone, Dunkin Donuts and on Tuesday’s, the Farmers Market. This is a quintessential New England Family getaway!

Great location, great potential but disappointing stay

Property location is wonderful, as shown, and host is very kind and communicative. While interior has indeed been updated, the exterior is an eyesore (cinder block walls, crumbling stairs, no attention to landscaping, broken screen door to patio, broken umbrella for table, unusable clothesline posts, etc.) Upon arrival, the interior smelled of wet dog and the rugs were dirty. Read Essentials list carefully - we arrived to bathroom without hand soap, body wash, or shampoo, and kitchen without any coffee (Host kindly sent some soaps when asked but referred us to Essentials list.) Laundry facilities, with detergent provided, are in old basement that is only accessible with key from outside, has broken glass on the floor and insulation hanging down from the low ceiling. With some more attention to detail, and house updates, this could be a good rental property.

Another perfect stay

Our year would not be complete without our stay at this suite seaside cottage. It has everything we need and want and look forward to our stay each year. This year we had some exciting weather with heavy winds and rain and yet the cottage felt cozy warm and we all loved watching the storm come in off the ocean. You can’t beat the views! We can’t wait to be back next year!

Great Location !

My husband and i spent a few nights at the cottage in West Chatham . The interior has been renovated and Riverdale beach is just a few minutes walk away. The location was very convenient to downtown Chatham. Also our host was very responsive to questions asked before and during our stay. Recommend Marion's Pie shop for take out which is just a couple of miles away . 😀

Perfect location, great stay!

Our stay was amazing, the house was minutes from the beach and exactly as expected. The house came with everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. I would definitely rent again!

Absolutely perfect for small family

We spent 6 nights and would rent again in a heartbeat. The proximity to the beach can’t be beat and the updated interior is an added perk. The owner was super quick to respond to questions. The size was perfect for our small family. Thanks again!!

Cute cape house

We stayed here for two days over Thanksgiving to be close to my in-laws and had a great experience! The house was very well styled and the appliances were modern. Lauren was super responsive when I had a question and the check in/check out process was clear. It’s on the small side but it was perfect for what we needed it for! Would love to come back in the summer for the proximity to the beach alone!

Perfect location

The property was exactly as depicted. Such a treat to be within walking distance of a beautiful beach. It was nice the owners had everything needed for the beach for guests to use.

Excellent home in dream location

My family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers) loved this home. It had everything we needed to enjoy the outdoors. The beach was just a mini stroll away and it was gorgeous. Owner was responsive and helpful. Recommend this property!

A wonderful experience at this property steps from the beach. We enjoyed morning beach walks, beautiful views, easy access to all of the cape lower arm, quiet and peaceful, make sure to stop at Marion’s pies at the top of the neighborhood for some deliciousness! Great location and accessibility.

The cottage was recently renovated and cozy. Very clean and within a short walk to the private beach. All the amenities you need are provided for, although it could use a couple more more coffee cups. We had trouble operating the TV but were not there long enough to watch it. Thanks to our hosts for making our short stay pleasant.

Perfect cozy beach cabin

Nothing beats this part of Chatham and having a sweet little cabin to call “home” while visiting is even better! The house was adequately stocked, clean, new, and the view and the yard were highlights. The outdoor shower was fun too! Lauren was so responsive (and patient) to all my questions. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We definitely plan to come back and can’t wait!

We are lifelong lovers of beach and ocean. Jon grew up spending much of his summer on Ridgevale Beach and it is a dream come true to watch our children get to do the same. Our small home is the perfect getaway for a family of 4 to enjoy all Chatham and Harwichport have to offer.

Enjoy treats from nearby Marion's Pie Shop or venture into Downtown Chatham or Harwichport, both short drives or bike rides away!
