Aloha and welcome to our custom ocean view condominium in the heart of Kauai, your private second (Top) floor corner unit. Island décor complements spacious with AC equipped unit. Just a short stroll you will find the coconut coast at Waipouli beach with miles of walking in either direction.

Our condo comes fully equipped with everything you will need during your stay, fresh linens, beach towels, beach chairs, and beach mats provided. ocean views from kitchen, bedroom, and living area. There is a king sized temperpedic bed in the master and an aero bed in the living room allowing very comfortable accommodations for two to four people. Both rooms outfitted with flat screen tv's. Expansive lanai facing ocean has two patio sliders and a sitting area perfect for coffee in the morning and mai tai's in the evening.

The coconut plantation marketplace is located just a short walk away where you will find great island shopping, restaurants, and a general store for picking up basics necessities. There are three pools and two jacuzzi's on the property where you can relax your worries away. Three gas bbq's and tables are on site for your enjoyment. Parking is free.

Your condominium is located at the plantation hale resort with its own activity center. We are centrally located with equal driving distance to either side of the Island. Head north to explore caves and tropical rainforest, beautiful ke'e beach located at the end of the road where you can strap on your back pack and hike the 11 mile kalalau trail along the napali coast. Head south to world famous poipu beach park and old koloa town. Heading west you can checkout Kauai's grand canyon, waimea canyon! Kokee state park and polihale beach. Come discover the garden Island of Kauai you wont want to leave!

We love the east shore location we find ourselves driving up there every chance we get to go hiking or paddling also some great dinning.

What makes this condo unique

We visit all sides of the island when we have a chance but especially love visiting the east shore to cruise the beach bike path and our baby loves Lydgate park and nearby baby cove.

Experienced Travelers Disappointed

Location is good. Walkable distance to the Coconut Marketplace where one can purchase interesting food options. Also close to Marriott Hotel where we enjoyed fish tacos one night and to Hukilau Lanai which was our favorite restaurant (across from Coconut Marketplace). Minimal ocean view. This condo was simply not clean. Food debris between cushions on sofa has been there forever. The one and only kitchen towel was damp when we arrived. Clean or used? King size bed was comfortable and sheets were fresh but floor under bed was filthy. I wiped hair and dirt out of the drawers in the dresser. Bathroom had been adequately cleaned but towels were worn and tired. Dishes in cupboard are deplorable. Only two old coffee mugs. Plastic glasses are very scratched and foggy. The inside of kitchen drawers sported food debris and hair. There were partially opened bags of food in the drawer where food was spilled. If I recall correctly, it was flour and rice. I felt a need to spray the stove cooktop and wipe with paper towel and the residue was brown. I like to prepare a little food in our condo when we travel but due to the condition of kitchenware and lack of cleanliness, I was completely unmotivated to use this kitchen. Refrigerator was fine. The laundry room on the lower level was available and good. I would never stay in F6 again nor would I recommend it to anyone else. If this place was updated and thoroughly cleaned it might be okay.

Owner's Response: Aloha, sorry for your discomfort in this condo, the couch at this property is about 6 Weeks old if there was debris missed it would have to be addressed with housekeeping. All of the appliances are brand new stainless steel not shown on website but I would think to be a nice surprise. Once again any housekeeping issues will be addressed and sorry for any inconveniences. Mahalo

perfect Hawaiian place!

The condo is perfect. Not a cookie-cutter, super expensive, fancy suite that could be found anywhere. But a uniquely Hawaiian place - down-to-earth, reasonable, filled with character, light, and ocean air. Very short walking distance to a fantastic beach, farmers market, amazing $3 Mai Tais, and the bike path (rental bikes very close) that takes you to other gorgeous beaches north and south, the town, and everything else you need.

Scenic Ocean View and Comfortable Condominium

We very much enjoyed our stay here in this condominium at Plantation Hale. Why? The location of the condo was convenient being the first one at the top of the stairs. There were 2 nice decks to be able to sit out and enjoy the ocean view and soft breezes. It was very neat and clean, well maintained, creative decor, comfortable bed and furniture. The kitchen had beautiful, new appliances and it was well equipped with utensils and dinnerware. There were also extra beach towels as well as, of course, bath towels.

It is conveniently located in the center of Kapaa easily accessible to restaurants, grocery stores, and shops in the town.

The owner is easy to contact either by phone, text, or email. He is very friendly, courteous, and accommodating.

We would definitely recommend it to our relatives and friends, as well as stay there again. It was an enjoyable stay!

The owner has upgraded the kitchen appliances and the Temper Pedic bed is so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Be sure to use your GPS to find this condo Aleka Loop street sign is missing.

Owner's Response: Aloha Julie, Sorry you did not enjoy your stay at plantation Hale, Its an older complex but with a great location. My condo is a top floor corner unit with brand new SS appliances. It has AC in both rooms and an ocean view. Its a great spot for beach goers and adventurers. I price my unit 40% off of front desk prices so it's a tremendous value. I too enjoy the south shore beaches although most are crowded, so when I like to venture into some hidden gems I go to the east and north shore beaches. Mahalo -Jeremy

Not what we expected!

This property was much less than we expected the appliances were old and had rust showing on one side- that had been spray painted. Needs a total remodel including cabinets. Our friends had a unit that was in same complex and was emaculate, modern and updated. The only saving grace was the bed was comfortable. 2 outlets in bedroom don't work, blue washed cabinets and the room was musty smelling when we opened the door. Would not rent again.
