3br Secluded House - Hot Tub - Wooded Lot - Bunks. Walkable to Town and Beach!

Spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath home set at the end of a private drive on a very wooded lot perfect for one or two families. You get a remote feeling, yet it's just a short 10 minute walk to the heart of Union Pier. Enjoy coffee on the front porch, relaxing in the spacious great room or the light filled sun room overlooking the tree filled lot teeming with birds, squirrels and chipmunks. You can also soak in the hot tub or tell stories around the fire pit. Property has a large fenced in lot with unique tree house and plenty of area to explore. Like many homes in heart of the area, there is some train noise a few times a day as the property is near the tracks.

In the area a short walk down Townline road takes you just past a cute bike rental shop, the BEST coffee shop and market, and then to Townline beach .9 miles down the road. You can also walk or take a short bike ride to several restaurants or a brewery. A quick drive will take you up Red Arrow highway to Warren Dunes State park, New Buffalo beach and town, or you can head over to Three Oaks and nearby wine country. Or just hit the local wine outpost that's a short walk or drive from the house to the Round Barn or St. Julian tasting outposts on Union Pier Road.

Max 6 adults or 8 total people (no more than 6 adults). Home is pet free, and allergy friendly. No pets allowed on the property inside or out. The property has 3 exterior cameras placed on front, side and rear of home for security monitoring, pet policy, or complaints, and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. There is no monitoring indoors.

The Birdhouse

From the beginning Sarah was very responsive answered all my questions through the months until our vacation in july. Upon entering the property it's a beautiful cul-de-sac wooded lot. Amongst the woods is a great little treehouse. We loved the layout especially a king size bedroom with ensuite shower and bathtub on one side of the home and a queen size bedroom with a hallway bathroom on the other side. The kids room was also closest to the whole way bathroom. I have grandkids seven, five and five and the bunk beds for just perfect for them. We really appreciated the dressers because we've stayed in some upscale rental properties with no dressers or places to put clothes we would pick our clothes from our suitcase. The sunroom was full of games puzzles

Great location, really nice wooded lot

Our family of 4 had a really nice 4-night getaway here over Columbus Day weekend, which is a perfect time to go to SW Michigan with all of the beautiful fall colors. The house was the perfect size for our family, and would also work well with one other family of 4. Functional layout, really tall ceilings with a nice, open feel, great bedroom sizes and a beautiful sunroom. We loved all the different outdoor spaces the home offers, it's on a lovely wooded lot, and our family used the hot tub and fire-pit every night. Owners provided ample firewood as well. It's in a great Union Pier location right down the street from a few restaurants, coffee shop and one of our favorite spots, Whistle Stop Grocery. Short drive to the beach, to New Buffalo and to Three Oaks. Host was very responsive throughout our stay with a few questions we had. Would definitely stay there again!
