Clean, nice finishes, easy check-in process, grocer within walking distance and near a bus route. Beautiful views of the ocean a few blocks away. Great location if you’re looking to golf. Plan ahead for transportation as the ride services are slow and limited. Pool was undergoing repairs so we did not use them.

Property was just like pictures. Quiet, well appointed and close to a grocery store and restaurants. Would highly reccomend as a jumping off point to explore.

We stayed at the condo when the weather was terrible - aKona low with high winds for three days, and lots of rain for most of our stay. We were so lucky to be in this condo! The fans and air conditioning kept everything comfortable when we had to close things up. The kitchen was well equipped and comfortable to work in. There was an awning over the lanai so when it rained lightly we could sit out and enjoy the view. The lower level lanai was covered and looked out on a garden. Nice spot to read. The condo was nicely decorated and comfortable.Easy access to Keauhou shopping center and to the Bay when the weather was too poor to be out driving. Nice pool. All and all a great spot when the weather wasn’t great. Mind you, the weather is usually great in Kona . This was unusual.

Quiet, Comfortable and Beautiful

The view from the upper lanai is gorgeous. Good size living area. Very useable kitchen with top quality cabinets. Very comfortable bedroom downstairs with its own lanai. The bathroom sink was fine for me but would be impossible for a child to use - it’s up above the countertop.

Overall, it’s a good property but they need more lighting, particularly upstairs. Excessive bowls, cups, etc. i would rather have space for groceries. The layout leaves the bedroom fairly open to main living area. Great views and really like the parking immediately in front of the unit.

we have stayed in several condos in this neighborhood. this one is definitely the best. all aspects top of the line. no expense spared. we have always been proud how we have equipped our rental units, but this one was better than our own.I would recommend the Keahou area over closer to downtown. Better access to the belt road,even though Alii drive is close. Nice shopping center within a mile and you can walk to the harbor or Outrigger hotel for something to do. Can't stress enough how quiet it is. For the amount of people in the area you rarely even hear a car or anyone talking.

Quiet Keauhou Retreat

We spent two restful weeks at the Keauhou Resort 116. The condo has a beautiful view toward the ocean and the gorgeous sunsets. A great location for exploring the Kailua and south Kona area. The condo is comfortable, clean, bright and quiet, It's not what we would call luxurious, fairly simple in its furnishings and decorations. Grocery store is located conveniently close. Nice kitchen with modern appliances. Two levels, both with air conditioning, although we were fine with only the ceiling fans and the ocean breezes. We had some questions arise, and management was quick to respond, although we found the TV system difficult to understand without any documentation available (we did figure out enough to enjoy watching the Merrie Monarch hula competitions). Overall, a nice place to stay in Keauhou.
