Townhome, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)
Aloha, Welcome to 'The Palm House' our home away from home on Kauai's mystical north shore - moments away from Hanalei Bay. We are located in the beautifully landscaped private Puamana complex between the Prince & Makai golf courses and just a short hike on the ancient trail to Anini beach. Open & airy with a bright quiet garden setting & contemporary tropical decor.
Our 2-story townhome/condo has been decorated with all the comforts & convenience you would expect to enjoy in a tropical destination. There are (2) bedrooms & (2) full baths with a bonus loft sitting area. It is a spacious 1500 sq.ft. (2) level condo with open beam vaulted ceilings. The upstairs master suite has a king size platform bed & walk-in closet with an open loft overlooking the living area and a balcony lanai with a partial distant view of the ocean & a full view of the early morning sunrise. There is a twin trundle bed in the downstairs bedroom with a large closet and a small private lanai.
Our favorite room is the spacious comfortable back covered lanai with a garden, semi enclosed with palm trees, tropical plants, colorful umbrellas & an orchid garden fringed with lush ferns. There is a feeling of serene privacy you would not expect in a resort complex. You can enjoy a break from your many adventures lounging on the large comfortable wicker couch & chairs or enjoy cocktails while barbecuing on the gas grill. We do most of our entertaining in this outside living area.
We are a moments walk to the fenced-in pool or a 5-minute stroll to the Westin Resort for drinks at the bar, coffee at Starbucks or a leisurely meal at their outdoor restaurant. A 15-minute walk along landscaped sidewalks will take you to the Princeville Shopping Center, public library & children's playground.
Princeville is a private community with its own public library, playground, a world renowned golf courses, tennis courts, large grocery store, various small boutique shops including a wine shop, ice cream store, jewelry store, toy store, designer shoe store, specialty soaps, clothing & a hardware store. There is also a convenient post office, mailing center, beauty salon & spa. There are many numerous delicious restaurants. It is conveniently located to Anini beach & Hanalei town & beach (both a leisurely 15-minute drive),

About Paulina Ann
The first time we drove to the north shore and into Princeville it was 'love at first sight'. The magical mystical mountains, abundant waterfalls, spectacular sunsets, tropical breezes, beamreaches & rainbows, taro field overlook, wide open spaces & spectacular ocean views high above the bluffs are just a few of the reasons we decided to purchase our vacation home in Puamana in 1998. Our daughter lives on the north shore on an organic farm with her husband & adorable son. They are the primary reason we travel from our home in St. Louis, Missouri to 'PARADISE' several times a year. We know you will enjoy living in our vacation condo as much as we do.

Nice location, a little noisy from the neighbor, but quick walk to the beach.
Nice location with easy access ro the main roads and qquick to the market. We found the grill was one of the easiest to use and now might need obe at home. Beds were comfy. The washing machine and dryer worked well as we were there during some torrential rain. All cooking stuff worked. Bathrooms also. Just the shower upstairs is made for smaller people. We enjoyed aitring outside out from the rain. The only thing we had an issue with was a loud neighbor and his friends. Thowing up early in the morning. Luckily someone else feom the place got after them. While i would have said it was a one time occurrence?, really cant as they did it soon after that again. So it was quite for the most part abd a nice place to stay, but realize you are in a place where people lice all the rime and it might be a little noisy. We walked dowm to the beach, down to the cliffs, and saw some beautiful places. I would stay here again because of the general area and the majority of quietness that was prevalent.
Very affordable, quiet, and comfortable...
It’s an older, quaint condo with the basic amenities for cooking and beach items. The beds were very comfortable and nice, hot showers. When we had problems with the downstairs toilet backing up and refrigerator leaking water, the owners IMMEDIATELY responded with fixing the problems. If your looking for comfortable, simple and home-like atmosphere, I highly recommend this property.
Beautiful location on the North Shore!
Multiple beaches are within walking distance of this location & it's close to a grocery store & historic Kapa'a town! Plenty of space & we enjoyed the back patio, it had beautiful vegetation which also provided privacy. We loved the Palm House!
Nice condo in great location
Overall a nice condo but pool was small. This did not detract from our stay as there are plenty of great beaches nearby.
Last trip before school starts
My family stayed here for a two weeks and this condo provided a good set-up for the 4 of us. The kids enjoyed grilling, swimming, and walks to Wyllie Beach. It is a quick drives to Hanalei; and easy shopping at Foodland to reduce trips to restaurants. Some fixtures/furnishings are worn or broken, and the place was not the cleanest but overall this place is a good option for the reasonable rates. We had a great vacation.
Charming and comfortable
Stayed here for a week with my husband and mother-in-law, and this split-level condo provided a good set-up for the three of us (us upstairs, her downstairs). We enjoyed Scrabble, grilling, and hanging out together on the back lanai; walks to Wyllie Beach and Anini beach; quick but scenic drives to Hanalei; and easy shopping at Foodland to reduce trips to restaurants. Some fixtures/furnishings are a bit worn and/or outdated but overall this place is a GREAT option for the reasonable rates.
Numerous luau's, helicopter tours, live entertainment in many restaurants, zip lining, whale & dolphin watching, bird watching
