Cozy Mountain Getaway !! Diversión para toda la familia. (1 milla del lago Nantahala)

Ubicado en 5 acres, a solo un corto trayecto en automóvil por nuestra carretera con acceso a dos ruedas. Nuestra casa de campo de 400 pies cuadrados cuenta con un baño de azulejos brasileños recientemente remodelado (2019) y un nuevo sistema de climatización. La cabaña tiene un dormitorio de matrimonio, un baño, una cocina / comedor completamente equipada, una gran sala de estar con dos sofás desplegables y un loft de tamaño infantil con área de entretenimiento incorporada y un colchón inflable de tamaño queen. La cabaña cuenta con una terraza de 1000 pies cuadrados, parrilla de propano, muebles de patio, mesa de picnic, área de fogatas de tamaño familiar, una ducha al aire libre, espacio para hamacas y un lavadero independiente. En la propiedad, a través de un puente hecho a mano y escaleras naturales, hay un columpio en el que los niños adoran jugar, así como muchas rutas de senderismo, o disfrutar del arroyo y la amplia área de juegos.

Charming Private Stay in the Mountains

Cabin was wonderful, just the right size for two people, but could comfortably fit a few more. Shower was spacious, pressure strong, water nice and hot! The scenery was gorgeous, a perfect little wooded getaway. We were in the area for a friend's wedding festivities and didn't get enough time to enjoy the cabin and property to it's full extent, so we'll have to come back another time to check out the hot tub, fire pit, and trails that looked like a lot of fun!The cabin was well stocked with supplies and everything we could need. Lovely propertly, clean, well maintained, and lots to do.We loved our stay, and you will too! Thank you David & Laurie!

Was going to put 3 stars but I felt that was unnecessary considering we enjoyed ourself greatly.... Some things to consider... The picture with hot tub looking into what appears to be sunrise is false.... Maybe just time of year. Trails with Lakeview is not the truth in the slightest.. One takes you to top of mountain and one takes you to rusted out swings about 100 feet from cabin. Says in listing trails with lake view... Big false. Cabin was nice comfortable I would consider going other than cooler months as we slept on sleeper sofa because bedroom got too cold. Otherwise cabin hot tub were nice and our adventure was blessed otherwise. Just don't expect to go right out of cabin onto a trail that takes you to the lake. That's not reality.

The changing leaves and crisp mountain air make it such a special time to relax and unwind—especially with the hot tub to top it off. Its challenging to time the sunrise perectly to enjoy in the hot tub, but when you do, it's amazing. The trail to the top has a fabulous view of the lake, we are sorry you were unable enjoy it. One of the many trails on the property take you past tree swings, continue on the trail and you’ll find additional trails to enjoy. As individual sleeping preferences vary, we keep space heaters and blankets in the bedroom closet for guests. We are glad you enjoyed your stay!

Such a cute and beautiful cabin. Me and my partner loved staying here. Very secluded with hot tub, fire pit, beautiful indoor space, swings and private hikes within the property! Very secluded and you'd barely step out of the cabin grounds as it is very MAGICAL!

Cozy and secluded

I had a nice time staying at the cabin with my boyfriend. The location was very close to a wedding venue I attended in Topton, which turned out excellent! The trails on the property were also very pleasant to hike, and the views from the swing and fire pit were truly breathtaking.

Great Private Get Away

This property was perfect for our family and close enough to NOC so we could kayak the Nantahala. We had a relaxing weekend and really enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect as a family without WiFi and electronics.

A gem in the woods

Our family of 6 loves unplugging, getting away from our busy lives and connecting with nature! We enjoy renting a pontoon boat, tubing on Nantahala Lake and jumping off a rope swing on Rabbit Island. Our favorite thing is sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows and eating Dads Dutch oven peach cobbler. As a parent it's a great place to really connect as a family.

We are conveniently located close to the "Sky Chapel", Glen Choga Lodge, Nantahala Gorge (Nantahala Outdoor Center - NOC), Lake Nantahala, and the "Tail of the Dragon".
This property has been in my family for nearly 200 years. We have Native American roots and named the cabin after my mother who we affectionately call Running Squirrel. Our land boasts wild turkey, deer, rabbits, and of course squirrels! If you are looking for privacy and to disconnect from the distractions of the world, this is the place.

You feel secluded surrounded by 20 acres of trees tucked between two mountain ridges as well as the breathtaking mountain top view of the lake. Relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the mountain views is spectacular. Stargazing with little light pollution is remarkable.
