About Kate Cohen
I grew up in Camden just around the corner on Bay View Street, and was lucky enough to return with my husband to raise our four children in Maine. My husband is a Real Estate Broker here in town and we are both very active in our community. Camden is a truly special spot and we believe whether this is your first visit or your 100th, it won't be your last! We work very hard to make your stay enjoyable, we are accessible…you may run into us at Boyton Mckay or having a snack on the deck of the Waterfront. We hope to see you soon!

Why Kate Cohen chose Camden
This is a new property for us this season and it is lovely. Situated on one of Camden's premier streets, just up from the Peyton Place house. The Chestnut House is an easy walk to town and to the beach, just up from the playground at Montessori school and the YMCA. The house has a wonderful 'flow' and with all the updates it is sure to become a favorite with visitors.
What makes this House unique
The Chestnut House has a lovely screened porch overlooking the back yard, where you can relax after a day of fun in Camden. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your stay.

Lovely, clean, and comfortable
This house is just as described. It's a perfect location to walk into town for ice cream and odds and ends. We had two young grandchildren with us (ages 2 and 5). Even with spotty weather during our stay, we had space for toys, art projects, jigsaw puzzles etc. The kitchen is well equipped and the gas grill in the back is a plus. The front yard was perfect for a kiddie pool, t-ball, mini-badminton etc. All and all, a great vacation house.
Just right for a wonderful family vacation!
Our extended family, from grandma to 10 month old enjoyed this property to the hilt. We found the kitchen to be well stocked and had baking bread, lobster dinners and barbecue night on the grill. The furniture and electronics were all just right and we loved the games and toys for all ages. A separate master suite was perfect to get some alone time. We are planning our next visit now.
Excellent family home for kids, parents, and grandparents!
We truly enjoyed our time at our home away from home. Kate, the owner was extremely responsive with minor issues - broken coffee pot, she brought a new one right over, and even put in a new game table in the barn with lights above! The beds were comfortable, screen porch lovely in the am, and we walked every day multiple times to/from Camden. Walked and played at Laite beach from the cottage. Fantastic Maine vacation in a wonderful town. Thank you!
a very special house
All the amenities you could want (but bring your own herbs, soy sauce, condiments, etc if you are there for a short stay and want to cook). Otherwise a great kitchen to work in. What I liked the most was the character of the house. That, and how clean it was.
Beautiful historic home but with all of the amenities.
The house was charming and had close proximity to downtown and the harbor. We were in walking distance of both. The neighborhood was a joy to walk in. Beautiful historical homes and manicured lawns. The house had charm, was clean and had comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, plates, etc. There were accommodations for children with a small separate play area and TV. Our stay was very pleasant.
Thank you for your review! We are so pleased you enjoyed your visit to Camden and found the house to be a perfect spot for your visit!
Great location and neat location. Liked neighborhood and being able to walk to town.
Had great time. House perfect for us with 2 young children. Kitchen and back porch and yard were favorites. Need small floor fans in all upstairs bedrooms.(there in heat wave). Also loved having games available and folding chairs. Very comfortable.
