The house was lovely.
We enjoyed our trip to Maine. Camden is a beautiful little town. We enjoyed the house very much. The location was very good, nice walk into town.
Beautiful home - great location
This is our second time here. It is close to town and beach. House is well cared for, very pretty old home. It is well equipped too., and comfortable. Works well for 6 adults plus a couple of kids
Everything about our stay was wonderful thanks to the house and location. The house was clean with magnificent photographs throughout. It fit our needs perfectly. We particularly loved the screened in porch and the very functional kitchen. The location allowed for easy walks to the beach and into town for ice cream. It all made for a perfect vacation.
Lovely stay in Camden
The location is wonderful - easy walk into town but feels quiet and relaxing. Short walk to beach as well. House is roomy with a nice master suite and kitchen. Could have been a little cleaner (a bit dusty, some stains) but overall a very nice stay.
Lovely, clean, and comfortable
This house is just as described. It's a perfect location to walk into town for ice cream and odds and ends. We had two young grandchildren with us (ages 2 and 5). Even with spotty weather during our stay, we had space for toys, art projects, jigsaw puzzles etc. The kitchen is well equipped and the gas grill in the back is a plus. The front yard was perfect for a kiddie pool, t-ball, mini-badminton etc. All and all, a great vacation house.
Camden Maine is truly the perfect vacation spot! Located on the gorgeous Penobscot Bay come enjoy all the Coast of Maine has to offer. Fantastic food, live theater, outdoor sports, sailing, paddle boarding, beaches, mountains. Nearby Rockland is home to some of the states finest galleries and our own Farnsworth Museum and Wyeth center. Camden also makes a fine central location, a easy days drive to Acadia, Bar Harbor, Boothbay and Portland. Our house is located walking distance to town and the only sand beach in Camden!

Why Kate Cohen chose Camden
This is a new property for us this season and it is lovely. Situated on one of Camden's premier streets, just up from the Peyton Place house. The Chestnut House is an easy walk to town and to the beach, just up from the playground at Montessori school and the YMCA. The house has a wonderful 'flow' and with all the updates it is sure to become a favorite with visitors.
What makes this House unique
The Chestnut House has a lovely screened porch overlooking the back yard, where you can relax after a day of fun in Camden. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your stay.
