We really enjoyed our 3 nights at this cabin. The place is in great shape with thought going into every detail and has very nice landscaping outside. The property was peaceful and we really loved spending time in the morning enjoying coffee on the porch. The location was great for accessing the Pisgah mountain bike trails and fishing the Mills River just minutes away. It was a good central location between some of the places we like to visit in Asheville, the forest trails and the Davidson River down near Brevard.

Our first impression as we drove up to this cute little cabin was very positive. As we walked inside, things just got better, it was clean, neat, and the aroma of the log cabin was very appealing. We were meeting other family members here and it was such a wonderful retreat. The beds were comfortable, there was a coffee bar, very workable, kitchen and comfortable living room and bedrooms. My daughter said she slept better here than she did at home in her own bed. The host was very gracious and friendly, we will definitely be coming back. We would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place to stay close to the activities of Asheville.

Angela is an exceptionally kind individual, and her cabin is beautiful and filled with a lot of intentional little pieces that made the stay great. It was a very relaxing environment, and the dogs were very comfortable both in the yard and in the home (we were too!).The location can’t be beat, about five minutes to north mills river (and national forest access) and five minutes to the grocery store. Sweet and easy neighborhood. Angela was extremely accommodating and also allowed us complete privacy.We have already booked a second stay.

Sharing the property are my three gentle cats — Mama, River, and Ash — who love soaking up the sunshine and adding to the charm of this little mountain retreat.

This unique timber log cabin captures the true spirit of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Designed with classic wood beams and rustic charm, it provides that unmistakable cozy cabin feel. After exploring the mountains, hiking scenic trails, or visiting nearby towns, you’ll love returning to a warm, welcoming space that feels like a true mountain escape.
We are animal lovers here and welcome your fur family as long as they are well behaved, housebroken, up to date on vaccines/dewormed/antiflea/tick. We ask that you please don’t let your dogs on furniture and keep them crated when you’re not home. Boop bags are provided and we ask that you keep them on leash outside and pick up after them. There is a $50 pet fee per stay, if you have an additional pet there is a $25 fee. Please be sure to add your pet to the booking reservation. Thank you.
