Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Nice, family friendly, clean place and great unit! Happy with the property and amenities, great family weekend.
Only caution is that we were under the impression that all the "fees" are covered in the payment to Vacasa, then they hit you with a Homeaway $ 40,- fee after check out (Vaasa's parent company). It seems like a great nightly rate - but after all the fees- the average nightly rate went up $ 100.- (just hotel fees tax etc/ not valet, food, extras). Make sure you preview itemized total cost before hitting the book button. It may make more sense to book through hotel.
Great location...only regret is not having time to use the sauna/steam room or workout in the fitness center. Would definitely recommend this property!
My father and I booked a room for 3 nights and after our 1st night's rest we opened our door to find workers tearing apart the entire floor that we were staying. There was excessive noise all day (starting very early in the mornings), lots of dust and trash and piles of furniture blocking our paths. The thing that upset me the most was that often we couldn't even get to our room - the renovators put furniture up against our door barring exit or entry and we had to continuously move things. When I tried to calmly ask them not to do this, they either ignored me and walked away or they grunted, clearly incapable of decent human interaction. This was overall upsetting because I liked most of the property.
My father and I should have been treated better. We booked this place 6 months in advance, paid on time, kept our room tidy, paid our dues.
