Great Location: Following beach's are a short drive from the property. Capitola, Rio Del Mar State Beach (my favorite), & New Brighton State Beach are roughly 2-3 miles away. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is about 8 miles away.
This home was custom built in 2006 and has recently been redecorated in a warm and rustic style. You will find plenty of space for your friends and family in 4,000 square feet of living space and an oversized backyard. All the bedrooms are located upstairs allowing for great entertaining space and an open floor plan downstairs. This home features two master bedrooms as well as two additional bedrooms all with king size beds. There are also 4 twin mattresses located in one of the master bedrooms - please see pictures for bed configurations. The downstairs has an open floor plan that includes a beautiful high-end kitchen and great spaces for dining and entertaining including a custom table that can comfortably seat twelve. There is also a large sectional couch perfect for relaxing in front of the large TV and media center. This home has some amazing outside features as well.
Outside you can enjoy a game or two of horseshoe's or relax while lounging in comfortable outdoor patio furniture or take the stress off in the eight-person jacuzzi. The house is very private but is located close to town for quick access to local shops, restaurants, and beaches like Capitola beach, Beach Boardwalk, Seacliff and many more.

I have lived in Santa Cruz all of my life. My daughter and I love to travel the world but we always love coming back home to Santa Cruz. I have been running other vacation rentals for over 9 years and decided that I would offer my house for the 1st time to people who would like to visit Santa Cruz County.

This house is great for those who are trying to have privacy and space for their entire group but also wanting to be close to all the fun things Santa Cruz has to offer. This house is located in Soquel which is centrally located to great beaches like Capitola Beach, Rio Del Mar, and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
What makes this Estate unique
This 4000 square foot house is located on 1 acre lot. The back yard has an oversized cement patio space which is great for entertaining as well as over 1500 square feet of artificial lawn for the kids to play and run around, not to mention a full size horseshoe pit. The inside is just as amazing. The downstairs is an open floor plan that includes a beautiful high-end kitchen, great spaces for dining/entertaining, as well as a space for relaxing on the couch in front of the TV/media center.

Great place for an intimate family gathering
The house was perfect. Beautiful backyard. Enjoyed the hot tub, horseshoes and fire pit. Great space and really comfortable couch in the family room. Amazingly well stocked kitchen. Will stay again!
Nice, but not luxurious
The house met all our needs, but did not meet our expectations. While the house had a great setup for a large group (large dining table, lots of TVs, etc.), there were far to many items that needed attention from the home owner. Some of the items included dirty plates in cabinet, dirty sheets on bed, dirty fire pit, weeds in the horseshoe pit, broken glasses in the cabinet, broken dishwasher, etc. For the price, I guess our expectation was the house would be perfect.
Thank you for your review of the property. I guess I am a little hurt by some of your comments. I am not sure why someone would lie about those things, but I just have to say that anyone staying at this property or any other property I manage can call me 24/7 with any problems or concerns they have. I wish you could have given me the opportunity to fix these problems if they were really there during your stay. I have used the same cleaning crew for 8 plus years and I am on site as well for turnovers and see their quality of work and cleaning and replacing sheets with new ones is all part of their turn over process. I am also a little confused why you mentioned the dishwasher was broken. It was working during the previous guest's stay and the guests after you as well. Maybe you forgot to press the start button after selecting the type of cycle you wanted to run, but I can't seem to find where it's broken. That being said I am sorry your expectations of perfections were not met. I strive to make every stay enjoyable and pleasant as possible.
Excellent place to stay for a large family.
What a pleasant surprise we found with this HomeAway home. It has ALL we needed, was extremely comfortable and is in a very peaceful setting. Amenities are a plenty for being away from home but feeling at home. The only minor critique we would comment on is the low water pressure for showers. Otherwise, comfortable beds, beautiful back yard, wonderful inside gathering space, spacious rooms, great air flow with windows open and pleasant timely interactions with owner as needed. Parking is also so nice and easy. Great place!
Amazing home and location!
This house was perfect for a family gathering. The house is immaculate and clean, with comfortable spaces and beds. We loved the location, and proximity to Santa Cruz and Capitola. Crystal was great at correspondence and answering questions. Thank you Crystal for a great stay and helping my family make beautiful memories.

Should you cancel or fail to utilize this confirmed reservation, Myers Property Management retains all funds received. The total amount kept by the Owner/Manager will change based on the number of days prior to check-in you are canceling. In addition to your cancelation charge (% of base fee) there is a cancelation fee/penalty of $250.
