A quaint cottage in a great location to explore the area!
We had a great time. We came for Thanksgiving to enjoy a quiet retreat with just our family. The experience was everything we asked for. The Cottage is comfortable, warm, and the view is incredible. The kids loved watching birds and boats out the windows. We loved exploring Winslow and getting into Seattle for a day is so easy as well. We would definitely stay here again.
The Fenton Cottage was a cozy, comfy place to stay, with the most amazing views! Kim was very accommodating and nice to work with. The cottage was well appointed, in a beautiful neighborhood. I highly recommend this place.
Great home to unwind
This is one of the cleanest VRBO I have stayed in. Top quality bedding, great towels and well stocked with exactly what you need for your stay. Kim was there to meet us, show us around and open up the house. Location is just a ferry ride from Seattle but far enough so you don't have all the traffic.
You won't be disappointed
Comfortable and very well equipped.
We knew the the view would be wonderful - and it is, but we were very pleased indeed with the comfort of this attractive cottage. Kim couldn't have been more helpful. We would love to come back when we are next in this part of the country.
An Idyllic Cottage With Seattle Skyline View
FIVE STARS! My daughter and I spent a week at Fenton Cottage, in the mellow month of May, visiting my son, who is a tech engineer in Seattle. The view of the Seattle skyline from the cottage is spectacular. The weather was sunny but cool enough to bicycle everywhere on the Island. The ferry boat ride to Seattle is part of the fun. Bicycle to the ferry terminal and walk on, then watch the city skyline grow as the ferry approaches. It leaves you in the heart of Seattle, where you can walk to everything. The joy of country living with all the amenities of a cultured, urban adventure. Magnificent!
Fenton Cottage - Emerald City Views
If you are looking for a restful getaway - it doesn't get better than Fenton Cottage. It has plenty of character and the view of the Seattle skyline is spectacular daytime or night! Great views of cruise ships coming in - incredible sight to see these floating cities come in at night! It's proximity to the Ferry, Downtown Bainbridge, Paulsbo, Port Townsend and Olympic National Park make it an ideal place to stay. Kim has done a marvelous job of making sure you have everything you need. We normally made it back each night in time to make a family dinner - and had breakfast there too! We felt like we were visiting family - it felt like home. Warning for those who want to watch TV - the screen is the size of a desktop PC! Didn't bother me as I didn't go there to watch TV - sitting out on the backyard is much more memorable. Thank you Kim - we absolutely enjoyed our time there!!
Bainbridge Island has many parks, restaurants, wineries, and shops. Downtown Seattle is just a 35 minute ferry ride away. Explore the Kitsap peninsula. Drive your car, over the Agate Pass Bridge, to Poulsbo, a Scandinavian artsy city just minutes away. Historic Port Townsend and the Olympic National Parks are also easily accessible from Bainbridge Island.
