What a wonderful piece of paradise. The islands are so beautiful, all of the majestic moss covered trees & scenic beaches. Most new homes are stuck in the middle of a field somewhere. It’s remarkable how the developers & builders were able to leave so many trees. We took some pics last night of several deer feeding on the grasses & trees on our way home last night, I think we could have pet some of these. Your home is truly magnificent! And I’m pretty critical. The décor is very soothing (if you would share the paint colors, granite etc, that would be great). All of the finishes are top notch. Love the hardwoods, granite, porches, 10’ ceilings and 8’ doors. Our first home was 100+ years old so I do appreciate the historical charm with modern amenities. Floor plan is great, kinds have basically their own suites upstairs & we’re enjoying the grand master. The shower took my genius son to figure out how to turn on. We love this. Kitchen has a great layout & the butler’s quarters are quite a bonus. We’ve been to the pool & beach, Charleston is always great. Maybe jet ski or dolphin tour today. What a great place to retire to.The website & pics don’t really do justice to how awesome this place is, kind of have to see to believe. Going for a bike cruise around the island, have a good day.
We loved your home in Seabrook. The house has been beautifully decorated and well appointed. We needed nothing while we were there.
The only downside to this home were the bugs. Infested with Palmetto Bugs, ants and spiders. Traps everywhere, Terra poison in the kitchen where there were thousands of little ants for three solid days. Then another set of small ants came in to the master downstairs bath. We put Terra down there and it helped after one day. I have been to Seabrook every year at least once for dozens of years and I have never seen a bug problem like this one. The upstairs was horrible and my daughter had to kill bugs in the master bath every time she turned the light on. I get it - we are at the beach and those bugs are everywhere outside. But this was really to the extreme. The houses we have rented in the past used a monthly service and we rarely came across a bug inside.
We loved the home. We would like to rent again. But if no one tells the owner the issues, then nothing gets done. We are not afraid of bugs and we just stomped them and went on to enjoy ourselves, but the kind of house and amenities it offered and the price we paid, bugs should not have been there.
Great location nestled amid the lush tropical landscape off a quiet cul de sac. Garage parking for two cars. One mile to the Atlantic Ocean, Seabrook Island Club's Beach Club pools, golf (Crooked Oaks/Ocean Winds), and dining (Island House/Pelican's Nest oceanfront casual restaurant). The Lake House and Tennis Center are 1.8 miles from this home.
