This Studio Is So Close To Waikiki Beach That You Can Watch The Surfers
Our recently upgraded vacation rental with great beach and ocean views from your private lanai (balcony) is now available! It is literally a 1 minute walk to the beach!!!
It is a nicely furnished studio, has a new kitchen with granite counters, a large lanai and is SO close to the beach you can watch the surfers as you sip your morning coffee (unless YOU are surfing, too).
NEW! FREE phone calls!!! Local calls, inter-island, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries are FREE to call.
This home-away-from-home is managed by professional real estate broker/agents with over twenty years of Hawaiian vacation rental experience and are devoted to you having a clean, comfortable home base for your adventure in paradise.
Do you like to surf? Or want to learn to surf? Or watch others surf? Maybe you like to eat? Like to shop? Do you enjoy perfect weather? Music? Then this condo is for you!
This 334 square foot studio has a queen bed and is perfect for one or two people. If you have a small child there is a portable futon or a Pak N Play available on request.
Though it is on the smallish side, it is very comfortable and has everything you need for your stay in paradise. It features an ocean view lanai, new air conditioner, a fully furnished kitchen with granite counters, free WIFI, broadband internet, flat screen TV with cable, all linens and towels, microwave, toaster, hair dryer and coffee maker.
Because the condo faces the northwest it does not get blasted by the sun during the day and usually provides a comfortable temperature. The unit has air conditioning when needed. If you have a late night on the town, you'll appreciate the new room-darkening drapes when you want to sleep late the next day; or for an nice siesta after morning at the beach and a relaxing lunch.
Honolulu has the best weather on the planet! We get lots of sun and and our average daily temperature only varies slightly (nine degrees F, 5 degrees C) between Summer and Winter.
It is a great location for those that love the outdoors. The beach is across the street where you can surf, boogie board, swim; the lovely Kapiolani Park is nearby and a great place to walk, run and even hike up Diamond Head! And if that is not enough for you, there is a 24-Hour Fitness around the corner. It is also the perfect location if laying on the beach is your form of exercise!
We have a Walk Score of 88 and the only reason it isn't higher is because they factor in schools. A rental car is not needed because everything is so close. However, if you choose to visit places that are not within walking distances, the Honolulu bus service is a 5-minute walk; or maybe you'll decide to rent a sports car or motorcycle from across the street! Many car rental companies are available in the area, too. There is limited parking at the building and public parking is available in the neighborhood.
The Seashore building is not fancy; it does not have front desk, no waterfalls, no valet parking. HOWEVER, it is very close to the beach. Some of the Beach Boys that work at the surf rental/lesson places on Waikiki Beach live in the building. Do not be surprised if you see sandy footprings in the elevator! There is a surf shop right next door (along with a Mexican restaurant and a local restaurant) so there are usually people without shirts and shoes hanging around or working at the surf shop. So, if you are uncomfortable around surfers then another building would be better.
Our unit is a great home base for exploring the island. Diamond Head, Honolulu Zoo, Honolulu Aquarium, Pearl Harbor, Chinatown, the big waves on the North Shore, Polynesian Cultural Center, Kailua, world class golf courses and more are all easily accessible.
Whether you want to simply relax or see everything Honolulu has to offer, this is a great place to stay!

About Steve Marcotte
We have owned and managed Hawaii Vacation Rentals since 1993 and helped many thousands of guests to enjoy their stay in paradise. We are a boutique rentals and sales company that focus our attention on a small number of properties. Steve is a real estate broker and has been licensed in Hawaii since 1999. Iku is a licensed real estate agent and a native Japanese speaker. We have traveled extensively and this gives us an understanding of what our guests need to make their stay enjoyable and safe. And being owners of rentals gives us the experience to help others buy and sell rentals and second homes. We founded a vacation rental company named A Piece of Paradise on Hawaii Island (aka The Big Island) in 1996 and managed wonderful vacation homes in a special area named Kapoho. In 2011 we sold A Piece of Paradise and began relocating to Honolulu. A multi-year search for properties followed, and our hard work paid off! In addition to managing our own properties we also love to help others buy their own piece of paradise in Hawaii. Even if you cannot live in Hawaii full time, It is a wonderful feeling to know that you have property is here and you can come whenever you want. And when you are not staying at your property the rent can help pay the bills. Steve Marcotte Principal Broker Hawaii License Number RB-18115 Hawaii Second Homes 430 Lewers St Honolulu, HI 96815
Why Steve Marcotte chose Waikiki
Why this property? Location, location, location! I know it is an overused cliche but in this case it really is true. Though we worked hard in our property searches we did not expect to buy a property so close to the center of Waikiki Beach! The views are great, it is so convenient to everything and it has more of a local flavor than the resorts. It is on the grounds of what once was a home of the king and queen of Hawaii. This is where surfing originated!
What makes this Condo unique
We knew we wanted to buy this studio as soon as we saw the view from the lanai (balcony). It is Surfer's Paradise. It is next door to a surf rental shop that reportedly has great rentals and the best surf instruction. I heard you can rent a board for your stay and store it there. Even if you don't surf, it is the most affordable vacation rental this close to the center of Waikiki Beach. It has great views of the beach and ocean and is very close to a wide choice of restaurants, music venues, shopping and activities. Kapiolani Park, the Honolulu Zoo, Aquarium, Diamond Head, the New International Marketplace and Blue Note Jazz Club are all close by. NEW! We have added FREE phone service for local calls and calls to US Mainland and 34 countries in Asia, Europe, South America!

Great location by the beach, shopping, restaurants, transportation.
Many little amenities provided by owner and unit clean and organized. Great place to stay
Exactly as advertised, perfect location and lovely balcony
I was very happy with the rental, it was exactly what we were looking for! Don’t let the entrance/common area deter you, the exterior of buildings in Hawaii can look a little rough because of the sea air. The interior was lovely, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect! Right in the middle of everything. I would definitely book this again and recommend it to friends and family.
Steve is very helpful
Please note someone in the condo smokes on the lanai. We had to close the only fresh air access in the condo because of the strong smell of smoke. We did not want to use the air conditioning because we wanted the fresh air air that we love about Hawaii. Disappointed with the horrible smell.
Aloha! Thanks for your review. I'm glad we got 4 stars despite the smoking issue. However, I wish you had let me know someone was smoking when you were here because we could have done something about it as we don't allow smoking. I had asked you if everything was okay and to let me know if there any problems. I ask that of every guest because we want to do everything we can to help ensure you have a good time. BTW - this was the first smoking complaint we've ever had at this condo. Next time, please let me know!!!
Location and View are amazing.
This is my second time staying at this property. The location is perfect and close to the beach, the bus and shopping. I like having the option to prepare my own food and this property, with a full kitchen, is exactly what I needed. The owner Steve is very helpful and answered all my questions very quickly.
Great location and clean
Very impressed with cleanliness of The Seashore Studio. We enjoyed coffee, which was provided, on the lanai each morning and watched sunsets in the evening. The view was better than we expected. The bed was comfortable and the studio had everything we needed, beach chairs and towels, snorkel gear, an umbrella, and even ponchos. The property was only a block from the beach and the main strip. There was an ABC store across the street and a Biki to rent bikes. I was pleased and would stay here again if I ever return to Waikiki.
This studio has everything you need for a stay in Waikiki. The bed is very comfortable (Queen size), kitchen is updated and has all the basics for food prep. There are beach chairs/towels/water toys available. The location and view from the balcony are the key reasons we will book this rental again.
The only way to stay closer to Waikiki Beach is at the expensive resort across the street! This is 'surf land'. Some of the Waikiki Beach Boys live in this building. A surf shop is next door where you can rent surfboards, paddleboards and get expert lessons. You'll be literally less than a one minute walk from the most famous beach in the world!
