Four bedrooms and two bathrooms take up two floors of this quiet, non-smoking center unit. Coast into the first level with its full kitchen, large living room and dining room, half bath, washer/dryer, and backyard lanai with propane grill and garden view. Step aside, and let the kids upstairs to explore their open plan loft on the top floor. They get to fight over two twin beds, one full bed, and a couch in the spacious room, not to mention the ocean view!
On the second floor, you have your choice of three bedrooms. Two king beds and one queen await your well-earned relaxation time. The large master bedroom includes an en suite. The bright, medium-sized kitchen was remodeled in 2016. Dark granite counters and island frame the space for food prep. The oven, microwave, mid-size refrigerator, and dishwasher are ready and waiting. As you leave the kitchen and dining area and move right into the living room. This space is great for family gatherings, too.
Outside on the lanai, there is a glass-topped table with seating for six. It's just perfect for playing cards and having drinks and pupus into the late evening. When you sit at the table in the afternoon, if the sun is too bright for your comfort, roll down the weighted curtain to create a shaded outdoor escape. For your convenience, the owners have left you beach chairs, beach umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, sand toys, and life jackets. Also on hand are tennis racquets and balls for use on the community court, badminton racquets and birdies to bat about the epic lawns.
You can feel confident that your comfort is of the utmost importance, here. One of the most valuable aspects of your rental are the responsive caretakers: Kevin and Kelly! Brimming with aloha, these two island experts will be ready to meet you when you arrive in Puamana. As time goes on, if you need something that isn't present already, this lovely local couple is just a tropical text away.
When it comes to safety, the entire 30 acres of this gated community is patrolled by a security guard, but this specific unit goes a few steps further. Security cameras installed at the front and back doors record all goings-on and produce a live feed to help keep you, your family, and your belongings safe.

The common areas are elegant, unique, and honestly delightful. When was the last time you swam in a pool that didn't just overlook the ocean but seemed to be a part of it? One of Puamana's three pools is reserved for quiet rest and relaxation, and it sits literally on the edge of the sea. As you cut through the silent water, watch the ocean waves hit the shore just below, and take in the view of the islands across the channel, you may feel pleasantly transformed.
Puamana's larger pools, the Dolphin Pool and the Mountain Pool, are a bit inland. Everyone is welcome to splash and play here! The Dolphin Pool is accessible to all abilities, too; once you give prior notice to the manager, a portable poolside lift can bring you into the water with ease. Children can shout, run, and climb off some energy on the small play structure right next to these two pools. One of you can watch the little ones play, and another can lie back and float, running supervisory interference inside the chain-link fence. Maybe . . . flip a coin?
While spending time at Puamana, you can host a dinner party in the oceanfront gazebo, hit some balls on the tennis court, throw a frisbee on the expansive lawns, and work out in the exercise room (or at least consider it; this is a vacation, after all!). If you'd prefer ocean spray on your face and sand between your toes, Puamana's shoreline invites exploration. Pick your way among coral rubble, stones, and driftwood, and watch for the whales in winter while gazing at the boats moored offshore. Whatever you choose to do, remember - you're on island time!

There are more fun shops than even the most seasoned shoppers can handle, though you're welcome to try and get back to us. Hawaiian history and culture buffs will love visiting the museums, watching the hula shows, and discovering the sites along the Lahaina Historical Trail. And we haven't even gotten to the food, yet!
Front Street offers everything from delicate, locally-caught fish dishes to delicious calzones. You'll also find Vietnamese, Mexican, Thai, and Indian restaurants, along with a late-night spot specializing in comfort food. Sip an assortment of smooth cocktails, beer, and wine from your table overlooking the rolling waves, and don't forget the live entertainment - always in full swing at dinner time!
