This property was beautiful!!! We absolutely enjoyed our stay here, the river access is easy to get to, and was the deciding factor to stay at this property. The proximity to Brevard and Hendersonville was perfect. The outside property was spacious for our dogs to run around and enjoy themselves. The hosts also supplied us with a few cooking necessities and laundry supplies which was an added bonus! Will definitely be staying here again

Perfect for visiting with family in the area. Kitchen was very large and a great place for our family of 7 to gather around the table. Cabinets were well stocked and grocery store was less than 10 min away. The yard was huge and we enjoyed the shade of the tree and the ability to run around with our granddaughter.

Clean, roomy and centrally located. Loved the views on the back porch, and the river access. We put in at Wilson Road and paddled down to the house for lunch, then jumped back in the boats to paddle down to the dock at Penrose. This place is an excellent spot between our two favorite places in the area, Pisgah Forest where we enjoyed the hikes and biodiversity, and Dupont State Forest where we hiked and biked. Even though it didn't rain while we were there, the two-car garage was really nice to spend time in with gear. We really enjoyed dinner on the back porch. The whole place was nice for relaxing after strenuous days in the outdoors.

Beautiful property. It is not fenced so if you take a dog they must be leashed because there is a fairly busy road close to the house. The river access is great. The house is comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped. It is located 5 minutes to downtown Brevard. Very private. Would definitely rent this property again.

Perfect stay

We had a wonderful time at our stay at this house. The location is perfect for accessing waterfall trails in DuPont and the Brevard area. We enjoyed the spacious yard and the river access. This is a great home base for anyone who wants to enjoy the natural beauty of the local area.

Very Comfortable!

We really enjoyed our stay in this pretty house that has everything you can possibly need. Also, it’s situated on a beautiful property looking out on a lovely meadow with the mountains as a backdrop. I would definitely recommend this property

The house is exactly how it looks in the photos and description. It was very comfortable for our family and very clean. It is in a great location, close to Brevard, NC which has quite a few breweries and a quaint town to walk around. The yard was beautiful with Mountain Views and a river along the side.

Hall family

If you are looking for a place centrally located to all the waterfalls and scenic by ways, look no further! We were within minutes of every thing, including the quaint little town of Brevard. Our family would highly recommend this place for any nature lovers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Family Time

The house was great and perfect location for us to be able to get together with family for Thanksgiving. However the water pressure or lack there of was horrible. Barely enough to do anything. Showers were hard in that you had no pressure. I called the manager and he told me the owner was aware of the problem but offered no other help. Great house otherwise. Just hope they get the water situation figured out.

We had the manager check the water pressure and noticed an issue with the pressure tank switch. He has since fixed the problem so that the water pressure is back up and working great! The property is next to a pretty busy road (trucks), during the day not such a problem, but at night... House, furniture, beds, garage, garden, etc.: all in perfect condition...truly a place where you go and just pack your toothbrush! For enjoying the counties around Transylvania it is a perfect base!

Loved the location. Quiet and beautiful. Sheep grazing across the road, scenic mountain view out back, & a very short stroll let us admire the French Broad River.

Very comfortable

Very cute, cozy and comfortable place to stay. Quiet and close to town. Plenty of room and wonderful stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location / nice property and home

We had a great time here. Property is large and has a relaxing feel. House is adorable with all of the amenities. Location is great for hiking, waterfalls fishing, and rafting. Very close to quaint town of Brevard and not too far from Asheville.
