Fall asleep to the sound of the waves in one of the most private beachfront homes in Poipu! Unit 200 is an end unit in a single-level building, surrounded on three sides by lush grass and unparalleled views of the ocean. The waves break literally 40 feet from the serene grassy lanai. Swaying palms shade the lanai from afternoon sun during most of the year. Three walls of plantation shuttered windows let in the cooling ocean breezes. The 4 panel floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors to the beachfront lanai can close for serene quiet.
This remodeled condo features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and open living area (with full kitchen, dining/nook, and family room that includes a pull-out couch), leading out to a lanai with grassy yard and privacy hedge (low enough to always see the beautiful ocean).
Located in Kiahuna Plantation, the only beachfront condo property in Poipu, guests enjoy front desk check-in/check-out, housekeeping, BBQs and picnic tables, beach hut (with beach towels, rentals, and activities), self-serve laundry room, orchid and cactus garden walks, expansive lawns, reflection lakes, and Plantation Gardens Restaurant and Bar. Guests also receive complimentary access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club across the street, featuring a resort pool, fitness gym, tennis courts, basketball half courts, pickleball courts, and café. Pool day passes and cabana rentals are also available at neighboring Sheraton Kauai Resort.
Walk across the street to Poipu Shopping Village with an array of dining (including Keoki’s Paradise restaurant, Puka Dog - featured on Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations TV show, Thai and Mexican eateries, as well as gelato and breakfast spots) and shopping (including art, clothing, jewelry, and general store).
Less than a mile away is Kukui’ula Village Shopping Center with 42 dining and shopping venues, including art galleries, clothing, jewelry, casual and fine dining, drug store, and gourmet market with local produce.

About Dave and Sara Cogan
We are native mainlanders that fell in love with the island of Kauai and, specifically, the Poipu area. It was the first place we visited together as a couple, and got married there 4 years later. This is our second home, and we hope our guests will feel that way, too.

Kiahuna Plantation Resort is the only true swim able beachfront condo property in Poipu. The property itself is beautiful, and very well taken care of. The onsite amenities are great, and additional walkable lifestyle choices are many and varied. In the mornings and evenings, the beach becomes very quiet and you truly feel like it's your private beach.

The property itself is a beautifully taken care of expansive space. Family friendly beachfront near many activities, stores, restaurants.
Dave and Sara's condo was just what we were looking for! It's in an absolutely fantastic location. The view from the lanai couldn't be beat; great for early morning coffee and late afternoon relaxing. The condo itself was appropriated with just about whatever you needed for a relaxing vacation. We were pleasantly surprised with the condo having beach chairs and boogie boards for our enjoyment at the beach. The condo is located near the Sheraton and so we were treated to their luaus a couple of times during our stay.
Finally, no one could ask for better hosts; Dave and Sara were super in their responsiveness to our questions. They were always timely and informative, no matter how minor the question may have been. We totally recommend staying at their lovely condo!

Wonderful beachfront stay
We usually stay in Princeville, but wanted to stay south for a couple of days this trip. This was a wonderful decision and this condo was a perfect choice for us. We enjoyed watching all the snorkelers, kayaker and SUPs, as well as an occasional whale off in the distance right from the living area or lanai. The complex is beautifully landscaped and well maintained.
We would definitely stay here again.

For short notice bookings we may accept a minimum of 2 nights. For longer notice bookings, we may require up to a 5 night minimum. Please inquire. If you need to cancel, please notify us by email or by phone more than 60 days prior to your check-in date to receive a 100% refund. If you need to cancel 60 days or closer to your check-in date, a refund will be granted only in the amount that can be substituted by another reservation during your reserved timeframe. Required Cleaning Fees: Kiahuna Plantation requires all guests to have housekeeping services mid-stay and upon check-out. Guests are welcome to schedule additional cleaning and housekeeping, as desired. Fees payable by guests to the front desk are $150 ($175 for 2018 stays) check-out cleaning plus $35 mid-stay cleaning plus taxes. The fee schedule below further illustrates the number of mid-stay cleanings required, depending on the length of your stay: o 1-4 day stay: 0 mid-stay cleaning o 5-8 day stay: 1 mid-stay cleaning o 9-11 day stay: 2 mid-stay cleanings o 12-14 day stay: 3 mid-stay cleanings o And so on…additional mid-stay cleaning for every additional 2-3 day additional stay (full schedule is available by request). Optional Items Available Through the Front Desk: roll away beds, cribs, baby gates, and high chairs.
