From the owner: “Thank you so much, Quentin. We're so happy that you enjoyed our home and appreciate the recommendation! We love it dearly, and while we can't be there ourselves, we want more people to fall in love with our little corner of the world. Come back again—it's also gorgeous in late fall and when it’s covered in snow.”
Beautifully appointed home in lovely, private setting.
We had five family members staying in this house and it met our needs perfectly. The home and yard are beautiful and it has everything you need. The location has a lovely view of the water and is quiet and private.

Deborah, thank you for your lovely review. We're so glad you enjoyed our home and see what we see in it. Have a lovely summer!
The property was lovely, and the view was phenomenal. We really enjoyed the scenery. The tides in Maine are so drastic by the hour, and a cute little tide clock in the house helps you keep track. It still got cold enough in the mornings to use the heated floors, so it was nice to have them. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would come back again.

Emily, thank you so much for your kind words! We'd love to have you back. Hope you have a wonderful rest of your summer.
My family and I (4 adults, 1 child, 1 small pup) had a wonderful time in South Addison. This home is beautiful and wonderful for enjoying some peace and quiet - especially as a family. We've spent many summers in Maine, but never quite this far up the coast. We enjoyed the serenity of the house - great views, lots of wildlife (eagles and harbor seals), and a perfect sandy beach just down the road that was great for sandcastles and beach combing. We also brought a SUP that was launched both at the house (bring water shoes) and the sandy beach. Throughout our week we journeyed north to Quoddy Head, explored many coastal towns, and then south to Bar Harbor and Winter Harbor. Check out Chipman's Wharf (Milbridge) for great local seafood - we ate there and brought some back to the house to cook. It's a gem!

Wonderful waterfront vacation home!
The kitchen was so well stocked; a chef's dream, and beautiful with views only rivaled from the ones in the great room. The views of the archipelago glistened in the morning sunrise behind the fireplaces warmth of snap crackle. White deer came up to the front. The artwork and interesting items they had to enjoy where special also. This is a truly wonderful place to vacation and enjoy with so many hiking trails, winery and other beautiful things to enjoy close by. Did I mention Awe inspiring night skys? Thank you so much. We plan to come back! The Watkins Blanchard family
The two of us had such a peaceful, restful stay at this lovely home. The house itself is immaculate, and supplied most of what we needed for our time there. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. The home is filled with light, as well as interesting art and books. The view of Eastern Harbor is lovely, and the frontage was suitable for launching kayaks (more so around high tide-- it's a bit mucky for low tide launching). We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, especially over to the seaside meadow and beach area just north of the causeway. The only time we got in the car was to go over to Ingersoll Point Preserve and walk the gorgeous moss-covered trails there. There was great birding, and we saw a beautiful piebald whitetail deer, as well as seals and harbor porpoises during our kayak excursions. All in all, it was a restorative vacation in a stylish, comfortable home in a spectacular location with a sweet, mellow vibe. Thanks for sharing it with us!
