This home lives up to its name, with the elegance of a Lady, but offers the simplicity of beach living! From the open, airy atmosphere and family-friendly furnishings, to fine Egyptian cotton towels and monogrammed linens, no detail for your comfort has been overlooked. Once you vacation with this Lady, it will become an annual pilgrimage.
Lady on the Beach is conveniently located in the center of town near Ruskin Place Artist Colony, Seaside's Central Square, and of course, the beach.
This radiant getaway has two baths and access to front and back porches. The front and back screened porches will be as much a part of the living space as the interior rooms. The back porch overlooks the landscaped backyard and one of Seaside's intimate footpaths, while the larger front porch allows outdoor dining or just enjoying a refreshing beverage from the rocking chairs.
The furnishings are an eclectic mix of reclaimed architectural antiques and imaginative contemporary pieces. The kitchen is open to the living area and furnished with equipment any gourmet cook would envy. The kitchen granite counter tops extend to the adjacent laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. A vaulted ceiling and open interior adds to the natural and expansive light that is Lady on the Beach.

The property was exactly as advertised. It was a lovely, quiet place to stay but very close to the center of all activities. Really just perfectRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Lady on the Beach is a dream beach cottage. Nothing is overlooked.. from the classy decor, to the comfy couches and beds, to the potted flowers and herbs, to the well-equipped kitchen, to the screened porches, to the awesome TV!!! We LOVED this place, and it was a perfect getaway for our family of four. We walked or rode our bikes everywhere. It was a fantastic cottage with a wonderful location - close to town as well as the exercise facility & pool. Spacious & comfortable for all of us. We enjoyed both screened porches every morning & evening. We cooked several meals in the kitchen & enjoyed the expresso machine : ) The only recommendations that our group expressed were: difficulty with a couple of light switches & not being able to figure out what they went to/no label or the reastat knobs were worn loose. The air conditioner vent in the bedroom by the kitchen was very noisy - like it had something in it. This did disturb our sleep at night intermittently. We ran out of toilet paper, but were able to use tissue til getting to the store the following day. Prepared to start a load of laundry, then discovered no detergent (picked that up with the toilet paper). There were several electronic equipment remotes & it took us about 30" to figure out which went with what & how to get a movie going. Would be nice to have a laminated instruction sheet for turning on the TV & loading a movie. All in all, it was a fantastic vacation location & the above items are just small suggestions that would allow for a perfectly flawless stay if remedied. We would definitely stay again.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I'd (Leigh) never been to Seaside to stay (drove through in 1990), so I was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful it is here. And it's convenient to the beach even though it's not "on" the beach. What a beautiful walk to the beach! Not a bit of traffic! We love it! The church is truly inspiring. God is there. We look forward to returning with our 19- and 8-month olds. From Guestbook: What a wonderful place. We have been coming here since 1990 and have stayed in 9 places, this being our favorite so far! It was great for our 9 month old who could crawl anywhere without any worries. Perfect to share with another couple (as we did) because of the privacy of the bedrooms. Loved the decor as I manage a contemporary lighting store that sells all of these lamps. Very welcoming, comfortable, and a definite for all of us to come again next year.
