Wonderful 3 bed, 2 bath, cabin within walking distance to town, but you'd never know you were that close. Nice, private location, nestled in the pines of Prospect Mountain. No really close neighbors and a beautiful mountain setting among the trees and boulders. Truly an in-town "find" Our guests tell us the location is simply "perfect." Great for individual couples, families, 2 couples, or families with adult children & grandchildren.
The main floor consists of living room, kitchen, queen bedroom, attached bathroom, and 2 decks. The lower walk-out level offers a family room, queen bedroom with attached bath, full bedroom, and a full size futon in the family room. We have kids cots for ages 2-5, sleeping bags, packnplay, and high chair. We love kids! Private deck complete with seating and oversized hammock. Mountain decor with pine cones, elk, moose and dancing bears! Private home filled with lots of extras to make you feel completely at home in the mountains!

Why the Owner Chose Estes Park
We would vacation here, first as kids with our families. As we got older, we just kept coming back, and then bringing our children and now our grandchildren. We loved the atmosphere of Estes Park of fun, family, and great beauty. The magestic mountains are all around! It feels like the perfect place to be!
The Unique Benefits at this House
It is such a comfortable, relaxing home. We enjoy the 3 decks, whether it is relaxing in the hot tub under the huge Colorado stars at night, laying in the hammock, or watching wildlife walk by on the trail along the seasonal stream, it's just incredible. One great feature that we required in a vacation home was to be able to walk to town. Just a couple of minutes and you are on the Riverwalk that runs all through town. Walking to Starbucks, shopping, restaurants, or the many events along the Riverwalk is simply the best! Then back at the house the atmosphere is mountain terrain, rocks, boulders, and nestled in the pines. It's kind of the best of everything!
Owner's Map of Estes Park
We have been property owners (long term rental homes) for over 30 years. We fell in love with Estes Park and the mountains and wanted to spend more of our time here. We purchased Pine Cone Cabin in 2004 and it has been everything we had wanted in a vacation home. We now have the wonderful opportunity to share our home with our special guests and see the joy they find in the Estes Park and Rocky Mountain area!

Perfect place for 2 couples. Exceeded our expectations! 8th time to Estes and this was the best! Saw 1st bear while sitting in the hot tub after an all day hike. Thanks, we will definately return to this cabin.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Pine Cone Cabin. The layout was perfect for 2 families. Your house is well stocked and comfortable. We took advantage of all the decks, grill, and the hot tub daily. The kids enjoyed seeing the birds, deer, and chipmunks. Enjoyed the peace and quiet, proximity to town, and RMNP. Thanks much!

We had a wonderful time in your gorgeous cabin. We saw elk and deer in the yard, and a moose at Sprague Lake.This is just what we wanted. A beautiful cabin for us all!

We saw a moose, elk, marmot and much, much, more. The grandkids were facinated by the hummingbirds on the deck. They also became Jr Rangers at RMNP. Thanks for this lovely home!
