Our beautiful home is restful, peaceful and the perfect getaway. It's located on a quiet cul-de-sac with a large meadow in front and a view of the ocean. We are located 1 mile from the town of Gualala making markets and restaurants easily accessible as well as the 18 hole golf course. You can walk to tennis courts, swimming pool and the ocean.
Within sea ranch is a private picnic and beach area located on the Gualala river, in the midst of the redwoods.....a great place to go if the beach is foggy. The sea ranch has numerous hiking trails that wind in and out of redwood groves as well as miles of ocean bluff trails for walking and gazing. There is a winery a few miles up the hill that offers tastings and a wonderful spot to picnic and enjoy the day.

Wife and I are veteran Searanch renters for 15 years. We come up several times a year and renting from Denis is one of the nicest experiences we've had. The home is well equipped with all amenities including use of their bicycles and a ping pong table in the garage. Feels lived in like a home not just a rental. Views of ocean across the meadow and sound of waves at night are very relaxing. We enjoy reading and listening to music and this home is an excellent choice because of the big window seating. Home feels private even though there are close neighbors next door . Only slight drawback is distance to bluff trail. It's certainly no more than 5 or 6 minutes away but don't expect to pop right onto the trail, you will need to walk just a bit. We recommend this home and the owners and will return.

We stayed at this home in August 2010 and were very pleased with its harmonious layout and amenities. The home has two large, private bedrooms which are on either side of a common area which consists of a well-equipped kitchen, a dining space, and a great room with vaulted ceilings, ocean view, and woodburning fireplace. There is a small tv loft upstairs and a large hottub out on the deck. Denis was wonderful to work with and he graciously accommodated our two very well-behaved cats (aged 20 and 17) who are experienced houseguests and were too frail to be left in the care of neighbors for the entire week. Staying at Sea Ranch was one of the best birthdays of my life and I will treasure the memories of sitting in the hottub gazing at the starry, starry sky at night and watching my elderly but still-happy-to-be-here "kitten" jump onto the sunny window seat and start to purr when she gazed out at the ocean. We can't say enough good things about this place. It's well-located on the meadow and the price is more than reasonable. If I had the money, I would buy this home.

We have been coming to Sea Ranch for 10+ years and have never found a home quite like this. The layout of the home affords a view of the ocean from EVERY room and we were lucky enough to enjoy a 5 day stretch of sunshine and temps in the low 80s. We enjoyed the hot tub, satellite radio (great idea!), and cooking while looking at the Pacific Ocean. We hope to return sometime soon...

Most Relaxing Vacation Ever

When we walked into the house we were immediately taken with its casual charm and the panoramic ocean view across the meadow. It feels very secluded, even though there are houses on each side. The screen of trees created a very private space. The house had all the amenities you could want for a week away: hot tub, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, even bikes and a ping pong table! We spent most of the entire week waking up, having a leisurely breakfast, reading and then going for long walks along the bluffs. This was followed by grilling dinner on the gas grill and more reading and relaxing. The scenery is spectacular and the trails are wonderful. Everyone we passed (and there weren't that many) was friendly and smiling. Who wouldn't be in this place. Denis was an excellent communicator and answered our many questions via email. We plan on renting Sea Ranch Delight as soon as we can find time for a long weekend or another vacation. You will not be disappointed if you rent this house.
