Roads are well maintained and easy access all the time. New log cabin, two stories with loft,wraparound covered porch, large fire place, and a game room with large tv and fooseball tabel. A creek with fish runs the length of property and the hot tub looks it. This is a favorite cabin for families and newlyweds. It is completely furnished, dishes, tv's, big screen, theme rooms, leather tv./game room with fooseball tabel. The favorite cabin of all.
You are close to Cherokee and Cherokee Casino (30 minutes). You are 30 minutes from Maggie Valley and can ski in the winter and go tubing down the mountain.. You can take day trips to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee (approximately two hours). You can river raft on the Nantahala Gorge, hike, bike, and horseback ride. Waterfalls are wonderful.
The cabin is like a mini heaven. One pet will be allowed with a non-refundable $100 deposit with prior approval. Come and have fun.

We chose this rental cabin because it is on a beautiful setting and motorcycle friendly. You can get in and out without any problems, in an weather. It is on the way to the Dragon, Tail of the Dragon, Deals Gap, Fontana Dam, Hwy 28 and Wayah Road, my favorite.

We are a family of 5 and rented this cabin for the Thanksgiving weekend. We hiked in the area, jogged and rode bikes around the small community where the cabin is located, and really enjoyed the quiet, quaint community. The cabin was perfect for us and we especially enjoyed the hot tub and the creek in the backyard (my daughter would take a dip in the freezing creek and then jump in the hot tub). We played football in the backyard, enjoyed reading books and playing games together. This was a great vacation for us and the owners were very friendly and easy to work with. We would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a quiet family retreat or a romantic get away.

A group of women broke free from our normal lives and set out for a relaxing weekend, and that is just what we found at Bear Paw Lodge! We truly enjoyed the hottub, swing and creek. The readers found quiet places to get lost within their books, while others just sat around and laughed until our sides hurt. We enjoyed a day of white water rafting down the beautiful Nantahala, definitely recommended-Paddle Inn was our company of choice. Ask for Bill, better known as "Little Sexy". Thanks for the cabin rental for the weekend getaway. We made some wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Several of the ladies definitely wanted to come back for a longer stay. If you're looking for a nice quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustlle of life , then this is it, hope you have as great a time as we did!!

My wife and I just finished celebrating our 25 wedding aniversay at this beautiful home. I wished we never had to leave this place. It is so peacful. We rented harleys from the owners of the cabin at their store, Cherokee County Cycles for two days and had the best time. Suggest everyone go to that store. WOW-we just completed our stay at this cabin and it was the best ever. We stayed two weeks and would love to stay a lifetime. We rode motorcycles all over the mountains and went to the casino in Cherokee(did not win) and went to the best motorcycle store ever, Cherokee County Cycles in Andrews. We are going to book again for next year and they had everything we needed at this log cabin. Fishing, campfire pit, creek, and wonderful inside. Thanks for everything and we recommend this cabin to everyone.
