About the owner: My wife and I own a graphic design and marketing firm. I have a culinary degree so I love to cook. We have a small (17 pounds) Cockapoo and would be agreeable to a renter having a similar hypoallergenic dog. We love to read, enjoy good wines, cooking and entertaining our friends.
Why the Owner Chose Water Mill: We bought this 1/3 acre property because we love the location, landscaping and the old character of the the original 1920s house which we have tried to maintain while also adding some modern amenities. We enjoy riding our bikes and spending time at the beach. We love our beach home, we think you will too!
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage: If you wanted to you could never drive more than 3 miles to purchase anything. On the other hand you could drive 30 minutes to Montauk for dinner or fishing. We have rights to a small dock down the street where you can launch a Kayak and row to Scott Cameron beach. One of my favorite things to do, in the early morning, is to make some coffee and bring our puppy to the beach and let her run like crazy. Then we come back and make the family breakfast and get ready for a full day of beach and sun and body surfing and volleyball. We also love to bring dinner to the beach and make a fire and roast marshmallows and watch the sun set. (Bring a flash light!)
