Waikiki Shore #1404 is something special among the studios in this unique beachfront condominium.
Due to its position in the building closest to the ocean, high floor (one below Penthouse level), largest and preferred studio floor plan, we think 1404 is simply the best.
From the lanai, there is a magnificent view of Fort DeRussy Beach Park and the blue Pacific Ocean. This 14th floor condo offers clear sight of the coral below the ocean together with sea life. Meanwhile, the lights of the park add a little night-time magic.
You’ll have the best seats for Friday night fireworks and breathtaking Hawaiian sunsets.
1404 is also one of a very few Waikiki Shore studios with a direct view of Diamond Head from its front door, a sight that photos alone can only offer a mouthwatering taste of its true magnificence.

The condo was renovated to the highest standards in 2017 and also benefits from new furniture. The fully equipped kitchen is just waiting for you to experiment with your first Hawaiian recipe. Waikiki Shore is located on Fort DeRussy Beach Park, a perfect Waikiki location whether you are seeking relaxation or an active lifestyle. From sunbathing at the beach to surfing lessons, watercraft rental, snorkeling, pickleball, racquetball, volleyball courts, you will be spoilt for choice. To get you started, the condo includes beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels. Fort DeRussy Beach Park, while adjacent to Waikiki Beach, has its own unique atmosphere and is considerably less crowded than the main part of Waikiki Beach.
Waikiki Shore is just one block from Kalakaua Avenue and Lewers Street. This area of Waikiki has seen more investment than any other part of the city in recent years. It now boasts the best shops with a varied selection of restaurants for all tastes and budgets, great local entertainment and also the modernized Hawaiian Shopping Center. It is a short 10 minute walk to the new International Market Place.
Next door, there are beach restaurants which cater to breakfast, lunch and dinner, while there are also food choices on the first floor of Waikiki Shore.

WAIKIKI SHORE – THE BUILDING
Condos in the building are all privately owned. Some Waikiki Shore condos are marketed and/or managed directly by their owners. Other owners utilize vacation rental or hotel companies to market and/or manage their units. WS 1404 is an owner marketed and managed condo.
The Waikiki Shore building is 15 floors high and consists of studios, one bedroom and two bedroom condos.
Studios located on floors above the tree line have magnificent lanai views across the green spaces of Fort DeRussy Park. Studio numbers ending in 04 and 05 are toward the ocean ("makai") end of the building. Studio numbers ending in 14 and 15 are toward the mountain ("mauka") end of the building. The 04 studio numbers are closest to the ocean.
On the first floor of the building, there is an entrance reception area and also some shops that provide food, beachwear, beach services, hair salon, paintings for sale, surf board and bicycle storage.
The Waikiki Shore building and condos (including lanais) are non-smoking.

Location, location, location. This is the only private owned condo building on the beach in Waikiki. It borders the green spaces of Fort DeRussy Park making for picturesque views and a much quieter location than central Waikiki. Meanwhile, this area of Waikiki has seen more investment than any other and now benefits from the best shops and restaurants.
What makes this Condo unique
This particular condo's position is the best of any studio in the building. "1404" has the largest studio floor plan, highest, closest to beach and best floor layout. Its views are unparalleled, both to the west and also east to the iconic Diamond Head. (Other studios easterly views below the 11th floor are blocked by the adjacent building).

Great stay in Waikiki
So glad we found this condo. The owner, Craig, was very helpful during the booking process and after we arrived. As everyone else has mentioned, the views are fantastic, and the location is so convenient. It's a good base for wandering around Waikiki as well as exploring other parts of the island. Didn't need the A/C while we were there but nice to know it's available during warmer weather. We would be happy to stay here again!
Amazing views - great apartment
We would highly recommended this studio to stay in Waikiki. Location is perfect - easy walk to everything - shops, restaurants and the beach is right at your doorstep. We loved watching the beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Communication with the owner was excellent. Apartment has been recently renovated and had everything thing we needed. Will definitely stay again.
Amazing location and view
After a long flight from Toronto we were ready for a quick and painless check in process. It was terrific that Craig was there waiting to greet us. The place was recently upgraded and everything was new and spotless. It had everything that we needed for our 6 night stay. The location was amazing with a great view of Waikiki beach. We loved watching the fireworks from our balcony and seeing the sunset every night. There were many restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walk. Truly a 5 star location.
Can’t say enough wonderful things about this condo. It looks just like the pictures. The location is awesome! Just take the elevator downstairs & walk right onto the beach. 10 minute walk or less to many stores, activities, restaurants, & bars. The view was beautiful. Loved having breakfast in the morning & drinks in the evening on the lanai with a gorgeous view of Ft Derussy & the ocean. The Friday night fireworks were beautiful. Lots of recent upgrades to the kitchen & bath. It has new furniture, appliances, and washer & dryer. The new owner, Craig, was very friendly and easy to work with. He lives in the building and was easy to reach, especially during check-in and check-out. There are 2 nice beach chairs with storage pouches, a beach umbrella, beach towels, and a small ice chest in the condo. There are several ABC stores within a 10 minute walk where you can get groceries, supplies, & souvenirs. We also used the Waikiki Trolley Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus for sightseeing. Tip: get the multi-line pass. The pink line has a stop right across the street. It’s a short ride to the bus depot where you can hop on a different bus to go to all of the major attractions from Pearl Harbor to Diamond Head and dozens of other places. Hilton Hawaiian Village is nearby and has lots of activities and tours available. Some of them offer veterans discounts. It also has the closest luau to the condo.
This is a gem!
The views and location on the beach are what drew us to this condo, and we have stayed here several times over the past few years. The improvements and upgrades made by the new owner have really enhanced the property and we really appreciate Craig's dedication to making sure his guests are satisfied with the results! This is the perfect place for a single or a couple who want to be just steps away from the ocean, but also close to wonderful shops and restaurants.

For reservations cancelled more than 60 days prior to Check-in, to-date payments minus a $150 cancellation fee will be refunded; for cancellations 30 to 60 days prior to arrival, the deposit is forfeited; and all payments to-date will be forfeited if this reservation is cancelled with less than 30 days notice or in the event of an early departure.
