Poipu Makai vacation rentals

Property directly overlooks the ocean. Sitting on the sofa, you can see the sea without any other buildings in the way. Plenty of room and the hosts were always very prompt with replies. One note of caution, if you’re not fond of stairs it may not be the right place as several short flights up and down are required to be navigated from the parking area to the unit. Overall, very pleased.

Location is excellent, close to shops and restaurants. The view is priceless. Would stay here again.

This condo was so unbelievably beautiful and clean! I had actually seen it 6 years ago and said if ai ever visited Hawaii that is where I would stay. Back then I did not even know what Island it was on, but knew every morning I wanted to walk down the stairs and be greeted with that view! It had been upgraded since then and was so modern, open, clean and inviting. As other reviewers have stated seeing the big turtles right outside your balcony was so nice. There are a lot of stairs as others have also mentioned so keep that in mind if traveling with family that would have difficulty. Our trip was everything I dreamed it would be and more! I loved watching the sunset in the evening and hearing the waves crashing on the rocks. You will not be disappointed with this place! Book it!

This place is amazing, and we would definitely stay here again. Due to some flight delays, we arrived at night. We woke the next morning to an incredible view of the ocean. The location of this unit was ideal. It is close to the pool and barbeque. It's also on the first floor, which made it easy to walk out and watch the sea turtles come and go. The kitchen was well equipped, which made it easy for us to eat most of our meals at home. The only problem I could see is if someone is larger or has mobility issues because there are stairs, and the shower is on the smaller side. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this property.

This truly is an amazing VRBO located in a great part of Poipo. We were so close to everything! Beach is walkable but also easy to drive and park. The view from the balcony was breathtaking our first morning! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and were sad to leave! Definitely recommend if staying on the south side of the island! Will be coming back for sure!

We have stayed at this property on four different occasions. We are never disappointed with the views or locations.

The views were breathtaking and the sounds of the ocean hitting the rock was peaceful. Location was great! Had a blast and would stay again.
