Simple, clean and budget friendly. If you want to be able to enjoy nature, relax to the sounds of the birds and babbling creek, or test your fishing skills, this is your place! The owner was a first rate host, and went the extra mile to help me enjoy my stay. A wonderful place to visit!
Good affordable way to explore the area. Nice new platform with chairs on the bank of the beautiful creek, a great feature. Friendly host provided coat hangers on request. Cabin could use small chest of drawers or set of shelves as place to unpack clothes into. Whole place is clean, with newish feel to it. Important note: shower/sink/toilet room is separate from cabin, 15-20 feet away. It was exclusively ours, but having to emerge from our cabin to use it was something I would have preferred to know explicitly beforehand. Good place overall which my girlfriend enjoyed, which is the most important thing, with good kind honest host.
The cabin was a very peaceful place to stay! I loved the location--the sound of the creek right behind the cabin was especially relaxing. The cabin itself was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I was there for a slightly longer stretch after moving, and there was plenty of storage space. Greg was a friendly and welcoming host, and was happy to help and answer any questions I had. I enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend!
This was a great place to stay during a week when I wanted to unplug and recharge. Close to town, so you can easily reach restaurants, but far enough away to feel private. The cabin is small, but there's plenty of room to store things, so it never felt cluttered. I had no plans and brought stuff to do a number of things. There's a creek behind the cabin that was a constant relaxing sound and helped sleep. And Greg was a great host - communicating when he would be around the property working/making noise, but also making sure any needs are met. Would definitely stay here again.
I work while I’m there but this place is perfect for me.
