The space
Uncommon, special, and full of character, This Old River Cabin was originally built in 1884 and has been thoughtfully restored to preserve its history while providing a comfortable, welcoming stay.
Local art is showcased throughout the home, including pottery, paintings, leatherwork, stone elements, and dried florals. The goal was not simply to create a place to stay, but an experience rooted in the region and its craftsmanship.

The kitchen and living room are designed for gathering and unwinding together.
The kitchen features hand poured concrete countertops, custom cabinets crafted from wormy chestnut reclaimed from the cabin’s original walls, a large farmhouse sink, and a fully stocked coffee bar with a drip coffee maker, French press, and Chemex.
You will find all the essentials needed for cooking and dining, including a crockpot, blender, cookware, knives, cutting boards, bar tools, spices, olive oil, and pantry basics.
The living area includes a smart TV for streaming, puzzles, board games, and a curated selection of books.
Please note that the kitchen does not have a garbage disposal or a refrigerator water dispenser. A water filtration pitcher is provided for your stay.

Primary bedroom
King bed with a high quality mattress and premium bedding, dual zone heated mattress topper, USB and standard outlets in the nightstands, sound machine, and soft ambient lighting. The fireplace in this room is decorative.
Second bedroom
Custom built bunk beds plus a queen bed, comfortable seating, and cozy lighting. Designed to be enjoyed by both kids and adults. There is no closet in this room.

Shower and tub combination with a carved stone sink made from a rock sourced from the river on the property.

During active snow events, all wheel or four wheel drive is recommended, which is standard for mountain travel in winter. The cabin is accessed by a short private drive and a small wooden bridge, adding to the property’s character.
