Bella Vista (Beautiful View) is a VERY CLEAN and beautiful home with Central Heat and Air in the Mountains of Maggie Valley, NC near the Smoky Mountain National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Located 35 minutes west of Asheville this private setting is in an area with nearby streams and hiking trails and is easily accessible with paved roads. You will enjoy the fabulous mountain vibe with views from the great room and master bedroom, as well as when you are relaxing in the hot tub, barbecuing and dining on the deck or sipping a cold drink while watching the colorful hummingbirds and songbirds.

You will be located only minutes away from many popular attractions such as the Biltmore House and Gardens, Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah’s Casino, Blue Ridge Parkway, numerous championship golf courses, horseback riding, exciting whitewater rafting, snow skiing at Cataloochee Mountain, Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Railroad, gem mining, as well as delightful craft and antique shopping and dining in Asheville, Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and Dillsboro. Viewing the elk in Cataloochee Valley is also a wonderful treat.

You will appreciate all the amenities of this Non-Smoking home such as a central heat and air conditioning, wood floors throughout, wood burning fireplace, refrigerator, ice maker, new electric oven/stove, microwave and full size washer and dryer. The fully equipped kitchen includes granite countertops and everything you would need for a gourmet dinner. Besides relaxing in the step-down great room, which has lots of floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the wonderful view, you may want to enjoy the SmartTV (55" ) for streaming or Blue Ray DVD player. Wireless internet access is available for all your electronic devices. The master bedroom includes a new comfy king size mattress (read the reviews) and adjoining bathroom with NEW walk in tiled shower. It also features a 42” SmartTV and private deck with chairs to enjoy your morning coffee while catching up on what's happening in the world or watching the songbirds. The second bedroom includes a new king size mattress, 42" SmartTV for streaming and also has a private bath.

This cabin has implemented enhanced CDC cleaning measures. The property is cleaned with disinfectant and contactless check-in and out.

Pets are welcome with a non-refundable pet fee. In order to prevent separation anxiety-induced damage from your usually well-behaved pets, we ask that you either take your pets with you or crate them when you are not going to be with them.

Please don't hesitate to call me with any questions as I would be happy to talk to you and answer any questions. With all our repeat guest our cabin tends to book up months in advance, however I would be delighted to answer your questions about the area and make other cabin recommendations.

We have another cabin Bella Vita VRBO# 2427882. Feel free to inquire about it. It’s a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin located within walking distance to Bella Vista and has all 5 star reviews.

For those of you who have not spent much time in the mountains, most cabins do not have curbside garbage pickup. There is a free pull through recycling center within minutes so we ask our guest to simply take their bagged trash to the center when they are headed out for the day. Trash cannot be left outside since we have too much wildlife in the area.....think bears, elk, racoons, groundhogs, turkeys, coyotes, etc. The directions to the recycle center is located in the cabin. It's just one more unique experience of mountain life. As a convenience and for those who choose not to take their own trash, the housekeeper will take it for $5 a bag.

The place was extremely clean, had stunning views, and was the first place we had stayed in a very long while with a truly comfortable bed. We rescued a stray pup on the highway a few weeks before our trip, and Lisa was so gracious and kind to allow us to add her to our trip!

Unfortunately, it rained and was foggy for the majority of our stay. The view was clear of trees and the tree colors were gorgeous. The cabin was cozy and very clean. We really enjoyed making s’mores in the fireplace and the fact that wood was provided. The kitchen had all the dishes and cooking equipment needed as well as food wraps and storage bags. K-cups and tea bags were also provided. Bed were very comfortable with nice warming mattress pads. Lisa’s communication was very prompt, and she was ready with anything we needed. Would definitely stay again if in Maggie Valley.

Great cabin and host in Maggie Valley

Our stay was great. The cabin is clean and has nice features. I didn’t meet the host in person but when I texted a couple of times she responded quick. The view over Maggie valley to the other mountain side was stunning.

Nice cabin. Had a little problem with the keypad.

Nice view of the valley and mountains. We didn’t travel around much due to our dog’s age. The living room could use some curtains for watching TV. We enjoyed the hot tub and the porches. Wasn’t cold enough to use the fireplace. Overall very good vacation.

Beautiful View!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is breathtaking. Especially at night. We loved waking up to the sunset with our morning coffee on the deck. The mattress was so comfortable. Beautifil views in every direction.

What a beatiful place. The views from the cabin were spectacular. The cabin was very comfortable and convenient to every thing we did. There is a lot to do in the area. We went to the Biltmore, The Blue ridge parkway and to Waynesville (great place). Our 4 days there were awesome.

Bella Vista is as advertised…great location with a view to match. We stopped in Maggie Valley for a couple days to hike and sight see. The house is very well situated to take advantage of everything the area has to offer and has everything you will need for your stay.

Anniversary Roadtrip

Great location. Beautiful views. Had a black bear on the property the first night we were in town. Saw elk in Catalooche Valley, and black bears on the Blue Ridge Parkway. If we ever find ourselves in Maggie Valley again, we will definitely be staying at the Bella Vista.

Cataloochee and Relax

Hard to imagine better views in the area! We started the trip off with skiing at Cataloochee and used the back end of the trip to relax at the cabin. Super close to grocery stores, incredible golf and skiing, antique and souvenir shops, great restaurants, biking and hiking trails—Bella Vista is where you want to be when it’s time to unwind and take in the breathtaking mountain scenery. The cabin’s cozy atmosphere and stunning views from the living room made it the perfect retreat after our adventures, and sipping coffee while enjoying the mountain views through the large windows was the perfect way to start each day. Can’t wait to return!

I loved vacationing with friends and family in the mountains and have visited many different mountain towns, but fell in love with Maggie Valley again, after visiting many times as a child. I searched long and hard for a perfect cabin and here it is, Bella Vista which means 'Beautiful View' in Italian. I am sure that you will enjoy this cabin as much as I have!

I purchased this cabin in 1999 and have met so many wonderful guest over the years who remain cherished friends. We strive to keep the cabin updated and in proper working condition so you can enjoy your stay and be worry free.

We are local to our cabins and can be quick to respond if the need arises. We know how to take care of our guest because we want you to return year after year.
