Qui puoi trovare il vero TESORO NEAHKAHNIE! Il vero tesoro di Neahkahnie è l'energia della montagna - la potente "forza vitale" che detiene e rende disponibile per ognuno di noi. Neah-kah-nie significa "luogo degli spiriti".

Trecento piedi sopra le onde sul bordo dell'oceano del monte Neahkahnie, trenta piedi sopra il suolo, circondato da giganteschi abeti rossi Sitka e abeti Douglas. Bene fuori dalla zona dello tsunami. Guarda attraverso gli alberi, sia a sud che a ovest, verso l'oceano. Alza lo sguardo dal soppalco attraverso un enorme lucernario oltre i rami fino alle stelle della notte.

Questo è un posto dove lasciare la città e la cultura urbana alle spalle - una zona senza TV (video / DVD / wi-fi disponibile). Un ritiro nel mondo in cui il resto della natura parla ad alta voce. Dove le aquile girano e cantano. Puoi toccare la vera pace e magia qui.

Costruito a mano, con amore, trent'anni fa. Scendi dalla montagna, cedro dal fiume. Il soppalco e il soffitto sono in sequoia. È un nido da cui sono nati e presi spunto libri, articoli e visioni del mondo in cui ci stiamo muovendo.

La spiaggia è a quindici minuti a piedi lungo la strada e una bella passeggiata aerobica torna su. A breve distanza in auto dal West State Park di Oswald, il sentiero fino al monte Neahkahnie, la città di Manzanita o il Nehalem Bay State Park.

Il nido è un luogo per iniziare un nuovo viaggio, per rinfrescare la tua anima, per trovare nuova profondità, nuova crescita; per scegliere nuovi futuri dentro di te.

Incredibly relaxing place, we fell asleep and took naps right after we got there, because it really felt like we could just let go. The views were incredible, all the natural light was lovely. It had all the amenities and relaxing chairs to hang out in and soak in the views. Easy to drive down the road into Manzanita to grab food, walk the beach, etc.

One of the best views of the coast! The house was perfect and we really enjoyed reading about its history. Very comfortable and we had everything we needed. I’m so glad our daughter talked us into going!

Check in was a breeze. The kitchen was fine, but the refrigerator was too small, but that is in the information provided. We managed pretty well as much of the time we were eating out, trying some of the great restaurants in the area.

A Special New Year's Celebration

This was our fourth stay at the Eagle's Nest and it never fails to be a wonderful experience. Celebrating New Year's Eve/Day in such a unique environment was special. Seeing the lights of 20 fishing boats out in the ocean at night was spectacular. Walking down to Manzanita and seeing the beach crowded with people taking part in the annual "Polar Plunge" was a fun surprise. We always have new experiences while staying here and will definitely return.

Discover serendipity

I can't say enough about our experience at the Eagle's Nest. If you're looking for complete simplicity, unobstructed views of the most beautiful scenery in the country and a feeling of pure peace within and out, this place is a perfect fit. You are engulfed in nature. Host was very responsive and enjoyable to work with. Manzanita is such a quaint little town with friendly and accommodating people. We were planning our next trip before leaving this one. HIGHLY recommend.

Wonderful third stay at Eagle's Nest

We always love our time in Neahkahnie at the Eagle's Nest. It's a favorite coastal get-away in a unique and inspiring place. This time we shared it with friends who were also impressed with the architecture, ambience, solitude, and changing sea/sky vistas. It's a treasure!

50th Anniversary

We were there 6 nights. It was a different coastal experience. Our two most favorite vacations are beach and forest camping. We had the best of both. Such beautiful views and peaceful. At first we weren’t sure if we were going to hear the ocean, but yes. And the home was very nice and cozy cabin feeling. Thank you

Amazing views and attention to detail.

It was a rainy weekend but I could have stayed sitting looking at the everchanging ocean forever. Eagles' Nest is a special place, built with mindful attention from the house siting to the colors on the walls to the beautiful wood materials. Perfect for a retreat or an exploration of the area. I look forward to returning.

This place is what you've been looking for!

Eagle's Nest is by far our favorite place we've ever stayed, and we've stayed in some gems. The view from the living room is sky and sea. We loved sleeping in the loft—there's a huge skylight where you can see a magnificent tree towering above you. We got lucky & there were clear skies and a full moon too. Magic! The wood stove is easy to use (they provided perfectly cut wood) & makes the house so cozy. All the kitchen equipment was complete for making multiple meals. They provided so many thoughtful conveniences—reading lights, kleenex, courtesy fan in the bathroom, books, games, pour over coffee. We appreciated the closeness to the beach and Manzanita. Communicating with Fae was a joy—she was helpful and quick to respond. We can't wait to go back. 20/10 recommend.

Anniversary getaway

Best views of the ocean!! Great house for the two of us to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Super cozy and prefect. It did rain for the entire stay, but it just made the house even more cozy. Lots of books to choose from and read while overlooking the beach/ocean.

Our second stay at the Eagle's Nest was just as wonderful as our first last winter. The home nestled in the trees on the mountain side is amazing. The ocean and sky views are awe-inspiring. We will return often.

Unique and relaxing home

This was a wonderful place to stay as it was so different from home. Beautiful views of the ocean from so many of the rooms made it feel like we were on vacation. The presentation in VRBO certainly was not photoshopped. Home is clean and comfortable and has everything you need.

Escape from the midwest

This Vrbo provided us exactly what our souls needed and that went well beyond different landscape. It was a better way of living in a more co-existential life with the world around us and all the powers known and unknown. Every need was accounted for and we left this amazing place better, more inspired people. The space was perfect for our family of 4 with our 2 kids (9 and 10). They found all sorts of interesting things in the place. I wish I was a faster reader, though, as there was a huge volume of inspiring literature.

loved the Eagle's Nest

Wonderful home high above the surf. Central location to Astoria in the north and Tillamook in the south. Manzanita is the cutest town. Went to Wild Apple every day for supplies. Loved sleeping in the loft with the skylight and huge window, like a tree house. Thank you Faye for an unforgettable experience!

The view of the GOD’S!!!!

Absolutely stunning. Every minute spent felt special, from the morning to the night, you can see the beauty of this place, it feels magical. My second favorite part of this place was sleeping with window open and having the ocean put you to sleep, there’s no way that you can have a bad day.

We moved here 40 years ago, to be where nature spoke loudly, and to find community and culture in harmony with all life. With children grown, we've downsized. I moved my office back into the house, and converted my 'office' into a place where others can connect with the soul of this place.

Neahkahnie Mountain can be a deep and powerful experience. It clears out the confusion of urban culture, and brings us in touch with eternal truths and the wisdom of all Creation. Eagles, elk, deer, hummingbirds and other life are more present than people. Ocean, sun, trees, two miles of quiet beach, numerous nearby coastal state parks give opportunity to open our hearts to deeper and broader vision.
