Lac Glenville Luxury Lodge: canot, kayak, voilier, Wifi

Notre maison de montagne au bord du lac est la destination de vacances en famille ou pour un week-end avec des amis. IdĂ©alement situĂ© sur prĂšs de deux acres de terrain en pente douce sur l'azur du lac Glenville (Thrope) prĂšs de la montagne de villĂ©giature villages de caissiers et Highlands. EntourĂ© par les Smoky Mountains, 26-mile du littoral du lac Glenville serpente passĂ© fermes d'arbres de NoĂ«l, les pĂąturages, les forĂȘts, cascades et un parcours de golf de classe mondiale. Les journĂ©es chaudes et des nuits fraĂźches sont presque assurĂ©s sur cette haute altitude lac de montagne.

Le Lakehouse plus de 200 pieds de rivage, offre amplement d'espace pour profiter de la baignade, l'utilisation de notre quai en bateau privé (équipé avec un canot, à voile et kayaks) ou vous détendre sur la terrasse surplombant le lac.

L'utilisation de matériaux locaux et de l'artisanat local dans l'ensemble de 4700 sq. Ft. Lakehouse fait sentir comme un luxueux hÎtel de montagne. Les caractéristiques comprennent une vue spectaculaire sur le lac, les porches wrap-around avec chaises berçantes et barbecue en plein air, généreuse salon et salle à manger, calme coins de lecture, des cheminées en pierre massive, antiquité étages coeur-pins et une flambée, poutres apparentes dans le salon principal. Excellent comms by host. Lovely home! Great location. Very well kept. Very clean. Access to canoes and kayaks was nice. Access to towns and college nearby. The lake is beautiful. A bear ran through the yard while we were out on the dock—cool experience! The cleaning people did show up a little before our checkout and we felt a little pressured. Still, a full 5 stars. We would stay there again!

We’ve stayed before and had a wonderful time then. Even better the second time with the updates made to the home. We had a Wi-Fi outage from Wednesday until we left Saturday, but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Coffee on the porch, swimming and other fun stuff on the lake, fire down by the water in the evening, star gazing, everything we wanted and more. Well equipped with everything we needed. Great vacation. I wish we could just live here!

Wonderful Experience

We stayed at this property with 4 small kids and 4 adults for nearly a week and had a wonderful trip. The home is charming, the lake is beautiful, and the experience was all-around a great one. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat!

Family gathering for our 50th Anniversary

The home was perfect for our group. Our 2 sons, their wives and 2 children each. Five bedrooms, 5 king sized beds. Everyone had their space and privacy and comfort. The kitchen was better equipped than our kitchen at home. The lake frontage was perfect. Our rented pontoon boat fit perfectly. The fire pit lake side was great. The home is only a few windy miles from Cashiers and Highlands. This vacation will create lifelong memories for us and our family. Thank you for sharing this special place.

Heavenly Home on Lake Glenville

Every single aspect of this beautiful home and peaceful property was outstanding! The home itself was wonderful - so comfortable and immaculate! One of the cleanest VRBO homes we've been in. The owners' attention to all details and accommodations were really well thought out and helped to provide an amazing experience. Loved all the unique furniture, along with the coziness of the rooms & fireplaces. The home perfectly provided comfort & privacy along with wonderful common areas. The view was spectacular! Loved that it was an easy walk down to the shore & dock. Enjoyed sitting lakeside with the firepit roaring. Exceptional home, accommodations, view and communications. Highly recommend this amazing home - there is no way you can be disappointed with any aspect of it.

Perfect Girls Weekend

What you see is what you get with this listing--in all the best ways. It was very clean, well stocked and perfect for a large group. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was plenty of seating for our large group in the den and at the dining room table. We can't wait to return!

What a Treasure

We loved our time at this amazing home. We celebrated Christmas here with our kids. The first surprise was there was a Christmas tree for us to put our gifts under! There was plenty of room for everyone to be together and to spend the time alone. Everyone had a kingsize bed too! There was plenty of firewood to enjoy as many fires in the fireplace that we wanted. The kitchen was big and well stocked too! And we loved the round dining table. The property is very relaxing and great for families of all ages. We enjoyed hiking on the nearby trails and even had a little dusting of snow on our last day there. We can’t wait to go back!

Great time at Katie Camp!

Was fabulous! Lake house is awesome, great kitchen space, also very well stocked- beautiful water views, fun yard for kids to run around. Rented a boat from signal ridge which was also very easy. Already planning our next trip! Owner so helpful and communicative. Comfortably slept 3 adults couples, one grandpa and 3 kids under 3!

SECOND year at Katie Camp...

Our family LOVES Katie Camp! This is our second year and it's clean, great for entertaining our large family and has beautiful views of the lake. We love sitting on the back porch in the morning with coffee and nighttime with wine. Susan is wonderful to communicate with and such a great host. We will hopefully be back for a third year!

Perfect Lake Experience

Lake Living at its finest

We had the most wonderful week at Katie Camp ! The perfect place to sit back and enjoy the lake life. Lazy days filled with kayaking, s’mores, puzzles and family time. House was very well stocked and laid out. We can’t wait to come back.

Perfect Lake Getaway

From the moment we stepped into this absolutely beautiful lake house we felt at home. Enough room to fit our family more than comfortably. Fun nights spent around the large family dining room table playing games and laughing. Relaxing on the porch with a hot cup of coffee watching the sun rise in the morning. Our week spent here could not have been more perfect.

Family getaway

Despite the unseasonably cold weather we had a great time. Plenty of firewood to make campfires and stay warm. Fishing poles were great as well as the kayaks and canoes. We played games and watch soccer so everyone was happy!

I am a married mother who has been in the hospitality business for 35 years. I am a former educator and presently a practicing massage therapist.Originally from Philadelphia, Ihave resided in Amelia Island, FL for over 34 years. We have a foundation that is in honor of our daughter Kate who was an organ donor. Our foundation, the Katie Caples Foundation promotes and supports an educational program that goes into the high schools in Northeast Florida from the Atlantic to the Gulf of Mexico bringing the message of signing up to be a donor.
Our family likes to travel and explore, snow ski and enjoy eachothers company. Our favorite pastime together is playing cards. I am an avid reader and enjoy mystery books, books on spirituality, biographies and history. Since we have been in the hospitality industry for 35 years and property management we work to maintain our home to be comfortable and inviting for our guests. We want your experience to be fun, memorable and relaxing.
