A perfect vacation home

  • 5 of 5

There were seven of us and the house was perfect for both togetherness and privacy plus offering a wonderful location: four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, historic, steps from a beautiful beach, a great beach view, a short walk downtown, a location that offered easy sightseeing day trips and a garage that was full of beach, fishing, and picnic equipment. All of our needs were anticipated and the only emergency supply trips needed were to the nearby bakery for more tasty pastries. The house was immaculate and beautifully furnished. There were plenty of linens (even beach towels) and a full laundry. The kitchen was fully equipped. We were greeted with fresh flowers in every room and the owners provided a book full of helpful information about Chatham with recommendations that were spot on. Everything was just right for a memorable vacation. >

Stone's throw from Lighthouse Beach

  • 5 of 5

THANK YOU!!! The house was so beautiful and comfortable. It was a mazing to be a literal stone's throw away from Lighthouse Beach!

The past week has been beyond relaxing and the weather was lovely--even the day it stormed. The yard, flowers, and decor was the perfect combination of kitschy and homey, perfectly exuding the Chatham spirit we love so much.

We really did not want to leave, but are so glad we had this vacation to compare to our everyday lives. Can't wait to return to Chatham!

Great Place to Stay in Chatham

  • 5 of 5

Our family of five stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time! We loved having breakfast in the sunroom each morning with the view of the ocean. The location was great! It was only a short walk to the beach, which was fairly private when we were there. It was also a short walk to Main Street for dinner and shopping. The town is very quaint, and the owner gave us great recommendations for places to eat. We were very comfortable in the historic house with lots of character and plenty of space. We'd love to come back!

Exceeded Our High Expectations

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of 8 people staying for Labor Day weekend and a wedding. The owners were very easy to work with and very accommodating. Anytime we had a question we could email, call or text and the owners would respond very promptly. Everything was as advertised or better: the views, the condition of the house, dry cleaning service, lawn area, grill, distance to beach, distance to town center etc. We could not have had a better time at the house. Honestly, would not have changed a single thing about the house.

Perfect Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here in July when we visited Chatham. Not only were we greeted by the wonderful owner but everything was just perfect. There were beautiful hydrangeas in all the rooms (one of my favorite things about Chatham), all the beds were made and the linens were placed in each room. There was toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap and many other items that made the house easy to move right in to. By far one of the best walk ins at any VRBO I have ever stayed at. The beach was perfect and the walk to town easy. The back yard and bonus garage room were great for hanging out when we didn't want to be on the beach. And the views were of course amazing! We loved everything about the house as well as the ease in working with the owner. We can't wait to go back and want to stay for 2 weeks next time!

Classic, cozy, graceful, historic family home in the heart of Chatham's Old Village. Easy walk down Old Main Street to Town, full of shops and great eating. Stroll to the Chatham Light or Mill Pond in minutes or jog a picturesque 2-4 mile loops past Stage Harbor and Oyster Pond. Or never stray from the house and beach out back. Run up to the kitchen for a lunch break, then back to the beach 'til sunset. Cook out in the backyard and relax there or on the porch. Look for shooting stars at night from the quiet beach. Brilliant sunrises for the early risers, to grab a cup of coffee and sit on the beach and watch the fishing boats go by. Great for bird watching too. The location of this home is fantastic! This cozy home is beautiful year around, for bird watching or a quiet getaway, and available for long term rentals during off season too!
