Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
This place was the best house rental i've ever rented. The people that lived around our party were very nice and easy to talk to, the lake view was gorgeous, and most important of all the house was cozy. We went with a party of 7 and it worked out perfect. Although the top room in the house with bunk beds was sketchy because we heard a lot of things at night move but nothing crazy
House is in a great location with views of Lake Tahoe from front deck. Road is a bit steep so you need chains or 4x4 to get up when snowy. Furnishings are a bit dated but all functional. The heating system does not heat the house evenly, hot living room, cold bedrooms in general. Very well stocked however.
The location and view are fabulous but the property is disgusting! From couches that are so old you can barely get off them when you sit down to chipped, peeling linoleum, mildew stains on the ceiling in the shower, the tv doesn't work in the upstairs bedroom, etc. My sister (who is not a clean freak at all) felt like she was itchy after her first night at the cabin. It is falling apart, dirty and needs a total rehab. We stayed here because we brought our dog and needed a place that was pet-friendly. This limits your choices considerably. The only way I would ever suggest staying here (unless they rehab the cabin) is if you have a dog and no other options! It's sad because I'm guessing the cabin is owned by a lovely family (there are photos everywhere of their darling children). I hope they spend some money to overhaul the property as it deserves.
it was nice to stay over there.
1. very good location, near the lake. convenient to get the main road.
2. quality of furnishings include TV/Internet/Fireplace/PlayCard/Kitchen/heater/safa-tables/coffee maker
3. Bedroom sizes are nice.
4. Decoration are very nice.
1. trash can was full when I reached there. no place to put anymore trash.
2. should be 3 bed rooms instead of 4 bed rooms.
3. only one shower. that will be great if there is one more shower upstairs.
I would not stay here again, This house needs lots of improvements, only one shower and when it is advertised to sleep 11, you can imagine the mainham when trying to get ready 11 adults and only one shower. There are 2 toilets but they get clogged all the time. Kitchen is in very poor condition and the overall house inside needs paint and maintenance. Cleaning crew does not appear to look up when cleaning. Bathroom ceiling appears moldy.etc.etc.etc....
