Weekend Wine Trip
Lovely suite with close access to local wineries - a truly enjoyable place to stay
Thank you so much for your kind words!
Great communication, nice room, just as described. Outside the house was too dark, no outside lighting at all, but this didnt change the apartment quality. And yes, there is a noise from outside, so we absolutely needed our fan
The room we stayed was absolutely lovely as was the entire property. It was nice to stay in a place with charm and character vs a chain hotel. Travel to Asheville was quick and seamless. We also visited the Burntshirt winery just down the road! Loved the Meritage! Paula was very gracious and available constantly to answer our questions. Location is ok an as mentioned in other reviews, there is a fair amount of traffic but that didn’t disturb our sleep at all. We would stay again in a minute!
Only real issue is street noise which we saw in other reviews. We brought a fan which drowned out the noise. Otherwise it was great.
Nice clean house with easy access to Interstate (5 min) & downtown Hendersonville (10 min)
Conveniently located to Interstate (5 min) & downtown Hendersonville (10 min).
Great location for launching rafting or hiking excursions.
Many good restaurants & shops in downtown Hendersonville, making it a great place to spend a long weekend.
I recommend this this rental and will use it again.
Thank you so much for your kind comments

Built before the Civil War, it has been meticulously restored and proudly stands at the corner of Sugarloaf Road and Howard Gap Road. The living room has comfortable furniture, a flat screen TV, and a table & 2 chairs for dining and a nonworking fireplace. The tiled bathroom has a shower and a stained glass window . The rest of he apartment has handsome hardwood floors. The charming kitchenette is appointed with vintage glass pulls, antique style glass cabinet doors and a window with a view of the backyard; you will be pleased to know that the fully equipped kitchenette even has a dishwasher! You enter the Maxwell House via the gracious front door, enter into the foyer and your suite is through the first door on the left. Welcome to the elegance and serenity of the Maxwell House!
